Chapter 6: Something's Changed

{Tinker's POV}

I woke up in the middle of the night, wanting a glass of water. I then exit my room and to the elevator. The elevator moved down slowly, slower than usual. I didn't think of much at first and just patiently waited. The elevator reaches its destination and then I exit afterwards. I then reach the kitchen, pouring myself a glass of water. I then drink it and went back to my room to sleep.

{Third Person POV}

The next day, Zay woke up, exiting from his room. He stretched his furry limbs, yawning.

"Hm, should I walk up Plague or...oh wait yes." Zay thought to himself before opening the room door of Dr.Plague's. 

Roughly a few minutes later....

"IM SORRY!!!!"

"SORRY WONT HELP YOU FROM WAKING ME UP!!!" Dr.Plague said, running after Zay with his bat. Sean exits from his room to see the two running around, with Tinker on the sidelines.

"So, how long has this been going for?"

"Roughly about a few minutes. Bout to reach an hour." 

"...Okay." Sean said before looking back at the two only to see Dr.Plague about to smack Zay in the face with the bat.

"Woah woah woah, stop! That's gonna kill your friend." Sean shouted. Dr.Plague stops, the bat almost fatally hitting Zay's face.

"Now then, we'll be heading out together to gather some supplies. You two coming along?"

"Yeah sure." Dr.Plague said, getting off Zay who looks extremely traumatised before getting slapped by Dr.Plague and snapping out of it.

"Huh? Oh yeah, sure!" Zay said while getting up and rubbing his face.

"Good, lets go." Sean said before walking to the elevator, Tinker following behind.

After much walking and running.....

The group reaches an abandoned mall after  much walking and running.

"Oh, I remember this place! It's where me and Zay used to buy video games from! Unfortunately, my game consoles are at home and Zay's is out of batteries."

"Then why not charge it?" Tinker asked.

"Well, because there's an apocalypse!"

"Oh, yeah. Anyways, we should split into two groups. Besides, covering ground faster is better, right?"

"Yeah, I guess." Zay said, agreeing with Tinker.

The group split up into two after entering the mall.

{Dr.Plague's POV}

Our luck was great so far. There was a lot of food and drinks left over in the mall. Shame they took the pizza, the only thing left is pineapple pizza! While searching around, finding more food and drinks and ice cream, I found an ice bat inside one of the ice cream freezers! I opened the door and took it, the item not even melting in my hands.

"Ayo Zay! This bat doesn't melt!"

"Oh wow, I wonder why."

"I'm keeping it."

"Bruh, it might be a fuckin latex."

"It's not."

"OH AND HOW WOULD YOU KNOW, EINSTEIN?!"

"ITS FUCKING FROZEN SOLID, AND A GOOTRAXIAN BESIDES THE ONE AT THE NEW BASE WOULDN'T BE ABLE TO LIVE IN COLD CONDITIONS!"

"Oh yeah, you're right." Zay paused.

"Anyways, lets just get the food and meet with the others."

"Ight, bitch." Zay said before walking off.

{Tinker and Sean's POV}

(Tinker)

Not much luck, but at least there was stuff we could barricade our base with! I walked around, carrying a lot of planks before finding a taser on one of the shelves in the Home Depot. I took it immediately after seeing the taser and started to test it. It was, unfortunately, broken. I sighed and went to find Recon.

(Sean)

There wasn't anything useful besides planks and extremely sharp knives. I grabbed the knives as Eagle might have found more planks than I did. I looked at the type of knife it was before taking it and walking away. I met Eagle and I was right, she did. And a lot of planks.

"Oh, you found a lot of planks."

"And a Taser!However, it's broken so I can't use it."

"Hm, shame."

"Anyways, lets go find the others!" Eagle enthusiastically said before walking off as I followed behind.

{Third Person POV}

Dr.Plague and Zay met up with Tinker and Sean afterwards.

"So what did you two find? We found food, drinks and I found a cool bat!" Dr.Plague said, unsheathing the ice bat holsted on his back.

"Cool! I found a ton of planks and a taser! But its broken."

"I found some weapons and knives.Might be useful for something."

"Welp, lets go back." Dr.Plague said. The group walking together.

As the four walked past a fountain filled with water, Zay thought it was a good idea to push Tinker in and so, he did.

"WHAT THE FU-" Tinker yelled before getting cut off by getting electrocuted by the taser, falling back into the water

"OH MY FUCKING GOD." Dr.Plague said, shocked by Zay's actions. Zay's face said 'oh shit.' and Sean was, surprised and shocked. Out of the blue, Tinker's body started to turn a light, fluffy blue, as her limp body started to get up. Her hat falls off as fluffy tails grew. Her eyes then open, revealing white-ish blue eyes.

"What...happened?" Tinker said, groaning while touching her head.

"UHHHHHHHH-" Zay said, his mouth gaping wide open. Tinker then slowly looked down at her paws, before looking at the rest of her body.

"Oh." Tinker quietly said before muttering something, getting out of the fountain.

"Eagle-"

"Not now, Recon. I need time to think about what happened." Tinker said, pushing Sean aside before walking back.

"Zay, you fucked up."

"What? It's just a prank! I never expected that to happen at all, Dr.Plague!" Zay said before walking to catch up with Tinker to apologise.

"Yeah, you better apologise to her." Dr.Plague said before walking, elbowing Sean on the way

"Ayo, ya goin' or not?" Dr.Plague asked, stopping and turning around to face Sean.

"Yeah, I'm going." Sean replied before walking off with the rest.
