Chapter 7:A Visit From An Old Friend

{Wad's POV}

I drove to Bloxmare after having a great vacation in the other city,Pericappin. Instead of seeing the entrance, I saw a tall, metal wall. I immediately stomp on the breaks, the car slowing down slowly before lightly bumping into the wall. I heaved a sigh of relief as i hung my head back. Why is there a metal wall now? I then exit my Toyota to stare at how tall the wall is.

"A meter tall, ay?" I muttered to myself before going to the trunk of my car, opening it and grabbing my rock climbing gear. I then jumped onto the hood of my car and threw the hook-attached roped onto the wall, firmly holding on. I then took some important items before scaling the wall. After scaling the iron wall, I then stared out to Bloxmare, shocked by its appearance. It looked...abandoned.

"What happened?" I muttered before grabbing the hook-attached rope and jumps down, landing on the ground. I was determined to find out what happened and find my friends.

{MEANWHILE}

After reaching the skyscraper, Tinker immediately walks to the elevator.

"She's still upset, I'm worried for her." Allison said.

"Allison did you just commit-"

"Shut up Zay, now' s not the time for jokes. You caused this to her."

"..." Allison walked off to try and comfort his friend.

"Zay, its gonna be okay once Tinker is okay. For now you'll have to leave her for sometime.." Dr.Plague reassured Zay

"But still, it's my fault, ain't it?"

"Not really, its a bit of Tinker's fault she brought the taser along with her."

"I guess you're right...." Zay said.

"Good! Now remember that Kay?" Dr.Plague said before heading to the lift landing.

[Time skip to midnight]{Zay's POV}

I stared at the ceiling, unable to sleep from the incident. I sighed as I turned towards the window. I stared as the moon glowed in the night sky. I was about to fall asleep when I heard the elevator make a 'ding!'. That can't be possible, everyone was asleep! I got out of bed and exit my room, heading towards the lift. When I reach, I saw a shadow in the dark.

"Who are you?" I called out to them.

"Wait...Zay?" The Shadow said before turning to see him.

"Wad? What are you doing here?"

"Same for you. And why are you a furry?"

"Actually, it's called a gootraxian."

"Oh. Well, where are your friends?"

"Cherry and Dr.Plague? Dr.Plague is with us but for Cherry, i don't know."

"Ah, well have you met anyone else?"

"Yes, Tinker and Allison. Tinker used to be human but she became a, well...gootraxian."

"Shame."

"Well, I could introduce you to them and let you stay here."

"Ah, alright then. Although, where?"

"I have no clue, but there is a shit ton of rooms sooo..."

"I'll take the one near the elevator."

"Ok thats a good choice"

"Yeah, I'll go to my room now... yawn it's pretty late" Wad said before going to the room nearest to the elevator.
