Chapter 9: The Little Boy

(A/N: there will be a lot of nice pictures in this chapter because I wanna describe the garden and fish pond)

(Y/N)'s POV
The sound of footsteps bacame clearer and i saw Xander walking towards me. "Hey (Y/N), are you busy now?" He asked and I replied "Not really". "Good! Then we can go to the library to read some books to pass time" he says and I agreed. He held my arm and began leading me to the library. "How did you even know the library is here?" I asked. "Oh, they gave us a map of the 1st-8th floor and I memorized it" he said proudly. "Wow! Good memory" I said and he blushed a little. We then went in and it was warm amd nice.

I picked out some books to read and Xander picked out his. After finding place to sit, we read our books.

Timeskip to the last book~
"Ah I'm at the last book!" I whispered to him. "Oh mind if I read with you beacuse I finished reading mine" he asked and we ended reading together. 'Reminds me of the day I read with Prince Alaric' I thought. We continue reading and throughout the reading progress, we made a few small talks and laughed a little. We were so engrossed in the book we didnt even notice the prince starting at us.

Prince Alaric's POV
'That Xander again! Always sticking with (Y/N) like pop and corn. (Get it?popcorn?) I even forced him to live in the cottage so he can't see (Y/N) and here he is right now reading together with (Y/N). That should've been me. Grr...I have to do something about this' i thought enviously as I walked away.

(Y/N)'s POV
After reading the book together, we went our seperate ways as its time for work again. I'll have to go water the flowers and feed the fishes now' I thought as I walked down the hallways and to the supplies room. I opened the door and took a watering can. I went to the garden and found a water fountain there. It was beautiful.

I decided to fill up my watering can there. I then went to the west side of the garden and began watering the flowers. There were a few maids watering flowers at different poles of the garden. "Lalalala~" I hummed as I water the beautiful flowers.
