Back to the story~

(Y/N)'s POV
"Do you love me?" Prince Alaric asked and I replied "no! I would never love you! You killed my friends!". Prince Alaric looked shocked and stumbled back sadly. "Kill them!" King Marcus ordered and a guards rush towards us. The guard mercilessly plunged his sword into Prince Alaric's chest.

Prince Alaric started bleeding badly and crawled towards me. "Why don't you love me?! I did so much for you and this is how you repay me?! How could you? I love you with all my heart! Don't leave me, please!" He shouted before finally breathing in his last breath.

I stumbled to the door fearfully as guards began to rush towards me. I quickly ran out of the castle and went to the mountains. I climbed the ivy mountains quickly to save my life. The guards were chasing after me and shooting arrows.

Luckily, none of them hurt me as I slid down on the other side of the mountains. I ran into the forest quickly and searched for a hiding spot. I climbed up a shady tree and his in one of the branches. The guards were below me and searching for me.

The leaves were enough to cover my whole body. I stayed there while shivering a little thinking about Prince Alaric's death. The guards began to walk away after searching for an hour. They gave up and went back to the mountains. I looked around to make sure there are no guards left.

After confirming my safety, I climbed down the tree and walked in the forest like a lost puppy. I then came upon the dead end again. 'Maybe I should go to the cottage...there probably no one there...' I thought and began swinging on the vines cautiously.

I suceeded and fell on the ground. I twisted my ankle but I continued limping into the cottage. I sat down on the couch for a moment before going down the basement.

I needed to bury the corpses of my dead friends and let them rest in peace. I limped down and lit a candle. But there was no body to be seen. "Prince Alaric must've his them while I fainted" I said out loud.

I walked back upstairs and went to the stream to collect some water. I saw two figures by the stream and they looked familiar. I limped towards them and they began to notice.

"(Y/N)? Is that really you?" The person asked and I nodded. "Xander? Flare?! How are you two still alive?!" I asked in shock. I sat on a rock and faced them. "Well...after Prince Alaric stabbed us, we still found ourselves alive but decided to play dead to trick Prince Alaric" Xander explained.

I began to cry and hugged both of them tightly. "I thought you were dead....please...don't leave me...."I cried. "Don't worry...we're together now..." Xander said while patting my back. "By the way, where's Prince Alaric?" Flare asked and I kissed his forehead.

"He's gone now..." I said slowly while still sobbing. "Actually, I know a place we can go so we can be safe from the king" Xander suggested. "Where?" Flare and I said together. "Come with me" Xander said as well started walking with him.

We came upon a small door. I opened it and there was a sky. There was also a city down there.
