Chapter 14: The King's Order

(Y/N)'s POV
I woke up and immediately went to shower. 'Ah...i still feel so sleepy' I thought. After showering, I put on my maid outfit and went to the castle's kitchen. 'I feel like I could sleep any second now' I thought drowsily. I heard a snap and went to offer the prince his breakfast.

Timeskip after breakfast~
"(Y/N), please clean my room right now. Its quite a mess in there and I don't have time to clean it. Ill meet you back in my room 30 minutes later and ill help you clean if you can't make it in time" Prince Alaric said and touched my cheeks. "Alright then Master. I'll see you later then" I said and he walked away a little gloomily. 'I wonder what's the matter' i thought worriedly. I skipped to his room and he was right...it is a mess in there. I grabbed the duster and immediately clean all the shelves and furnitures till they're free of dust. I then grabbed the broom and started sweeping the floor. After that, i clean the mirror and rearrange some of the fallen books. 'Ah...im finally done...' I thought tiredly and the door suddenly flung open. In Came an angry looking Prince Alaric. "M-master?" I said timidly.

Flashback to when youre cleaning his room
Prince Alaric's POV
'Ugh! What does my father want now?' I thought frustratedly. I pushed open his door and went in, annoyed. "Son, as you know you are to find a wife by these 3 months but I'm shortening it to 1 month. So, you must visit the princesses' kingdoms and stay there for a few days. After you stayed at each of the princesses' castle, you will get to know them better. At the end of the month, you have to choose one of the princesses and we will hold a wedding coronation. So, you will be visiting each of the kingdoms for 3 days. That means you are not returning here for another 9 or 10 days. And also, you'll be traveling to the kingdom of Irshocgard in 4 hours" he said amusedly.

I was so angered I almost stabbed with a knife that I carry everywhere. I shook my fist and argued "How could you just do that without my consent?! Im not visiting those princesses' kingdoms just so I could get to know them better. I hate you so much!". " I don't care if you do not like my plan, but you are doing it whether you like it or not. If you continue to argue, I will send you to the torture dungeon and lock you up for good" he says threateningly. I scoffed inwardly and went to exit the room. "Be ready by 1pm. I already have the carriages readied" he says and went back to sleep. I walked out angrily and went back to my room. 'Grr....I'm gonna make you pay one day' Sure, just go back to sleep and pretend nothing happened you old lazy sloth!' I thought sarcastically. 'I wonder how (Y/N)'s doing...' I thought and angrily opened the door. I looked at her frightened face and she looked so adorable and innocent. 'Oh how i just wanna cuddle her up and shower her with kisses' I dreamily thought. "M-master?" She said in a tiny voice.

Back to (Y/N)'s POV
"M-master are you alright?" I asked. "Yeah....I'm fine" he replied. There was a moment of silence before he spoke up. "(Y/N), you did a great job on cleaning my room but go pack your bags. We're going to visit the three princesses' kingdoms" he sighed. "We're gonna visit them?" I asked a little excited. "Yes. Apparently my father forced me to do so. Now go get ready in 4 hours. Just pack your maid outfit, pajamas, and toiletries. You can fit them in a small backpack" he said and I nodded. I exited his room and happily go back to my room to pack stuff. "Alright! Maid outfit..check! Pajamas...check! Toiletries..check! Sweater in case it gets cold...check!. I'm all ready!!" I thought happily.

Timeskip to 12:45pm
A knock came at my door and I opened it. It was Prince Alaric. "Are you ready?" He asked and I nodded my head. "Good, lets go now" he said and carried my backpack for me. "W-wait! Master! I can carry it by myself." I said and he just ignored it. I pouted and continued following him. "Heh, your pout is adorable" he teasingly said and I blushed hard. We managed to go to the carriage and our stuff got loaded in. Once everything is set, Prince Alaric pulled me into the carriage and the horses immediately started to move. The horses continued walking till we came to a small gate. It opened and we're at the outskirts of the Kingdom of Averylton. I looked behind and saw the image of the castle. It was really beautiful.

I started getting sleepy and a little hungry. "Kitten, are you hungry?" prince Alaric asked me. "Y-yes a little" I said. "Oh alright then. I made these sandwiches and I hope you like them" he said and offered me the sandwiches. I took a bite and my eyes sparkled. It tasted so good! "Do you like it?" He asked while eating a sandwich too. "Do I like it? I love it" I said happily and continued eating. After lunch, I started feeling sleepy and drifted off. Somehow when I drifted off, I hit my head on the side of carriage. "Ow..."I wailed as I rubbed the side of my head. Princr Alaric laughed and patted his lap. "Sleep on my lap. It'll me much comfier" he said and I blushed and denied it. "Its a prince's order. Just sleep on it. Youre blushing too...are you thinking of something dirty?" He teased me. "N-no" that's all I said before gently laying my head on his laps. He smiled and started to stroke my hair. I immediately fell asleep.

Prince Alaric's POV
'Ah...she's so adorable when she's embarrassed too...' I thought as she happily slept. I looked out the carriage and started thinking. 'I wish mother never died and father died instead. Ive already lost my mother...I cant lose (Y/N) too...I must protect her at all cost. No matter how extremely I'll have to go...' I thought and started to fall asleep as well. I touched the tiny bumpnof her head and rubbed it softly. She started to purr. 'Did she just purr like an actual kitten?' I thought and looked at her shockingly. But there was no sound except our breathing. 'Must've been my imagination'. That's all I thought before falling asleep and dreaming my precious (Y/N) in a cute kitten outfit while blushing like a tomato. Hehe...
