DARKEST JUNGLE

At the beginning of last month, I was down and got affected by various things happening around me. I felt powerless, so I thought of getting it out of my chest through a beautiful shooting star and hopefully helping some of you at the same time 💕

Dedicated to all the beautiful souls and bright stars, don't ever let anyone dim your fire ✨

Born in the darkest jungle,

I should be used to the law going in the shadow.

I know the snakes, the devil,

Stinging you deadly or suffocating you slow.

I've learned to survive head down,

Guard up, I always expect nothing but the worst,

Yet I still end up let down.

Living it or witnessing it is the same curse.

Powerless, I've watched

Too many fires being put out until the last spark

And I still taste the smoke sour like poison in the dark.

All of that for what?

Because they can't stand the light,

Jealous of all who shines, even stars in the sky.

To hide them they spread their darkness through clouds of lie

And roots of malignant spite.

Their deadliest weapon?

Words, they use them to lure you, confuse you, twist the truth.

They blame, they shame, and they find people to join their sleuth.

It always happens.

But it's no fatality.

Have you heard of the myth that can rise from ashes?

We can like a galaxy

Shine infinite and use their weapons as aces.

Now, I trust my guts and take the words from their claws,

With my heart to be helpful.

I know better than anyone because I was

Born in the darkest jungle.
