I walked in the door, relieved to finally be home. I heard the faint hum of music somewhere in the house but couldn't pinpoint the exact location.

"Y/n?" I called.

I walked through the house, realizing that the music was coming from upstairs. I sighed in relief. I just needed to be in her arms.

"I'm home," I said as I walked up the stairs. After knocking a few times on the door to our room, I twisted the doorknob and seen y/n in a towel, looking through her drawers presumably for a change of clothes. Her head turned twords me and a smile crossed her face. I walked towards her and hugged her tightly, kissing the top of her head.

"How was work?" She asked finally. I pulled away and sat on the edge of the bed, loosening my tie and unbuttoning my dress shirt.

"Stressful." I said honestly, though there were other things on my mind.

"I'm sorry," she said as she walked toward me and kneeled in between my parted knees.

"Need some relief?" She asked with a small smile.

"It's okay, I just wanna hold you,"

She smiled and stood up, and suddenly her face dropped.

"Really?"

My heart started to beat faster.

"What's wrong?"

She backed away from me and I seen her eyes gloss over with tears.

"You didn't even try to hide it from me?"

Shit.

"What?"

"Who is she?"

I froze at the sudden realization. When I pulled away from Petra and she began to kiss my neck, there was most likely lipstick stains left behind.

I stood up and walked over to the mirror, my suspicions being confirmed.

"I can explain, I promise,"

"I don't want a shitty excuse," her voice shook as she looked away from me, and I knew she was crying. My heart felt like it was being constricted, knowing she was crying, all because of me.

"Please, I'll tell you the truth, you have to listen,"

She stood in silence, and I didn't know if it was out of shock or if she was waiting for me to explain myself.

"Petra-"

"Petra?" She half yelled. I was finally able to catch a glimpse of her face, red and flushed. "How long?"

"Just tonight, let me explain myself,"

"I don't want to hear it Levi, save your breath,"

She grabbed a pair of sweats and a hoodie and left the room, prompting me to follow after her.

"Y/n, let me talk,"
