"I'm not sure if this is a good idea," ______ protested as she looked at herself in the mirror. She wore a black dress that hugged her in all the right places, the color complimenting her (skin tone) skin nicely.  I rolled my eyes playfully and sprayed myself with cologne.

"Why not?"

She turned and narrowed her eyes at me.

"Did you forget about last time?My ex works there,"

I shrugged.

"Yeah, but we're together now. I'll take care of him if he gets out of line."

Her eyes widened as the sentence came out of my mouth, only then did I realize that I worded it the wrong way.

"I mean not together as in, you know- dating,"

She had a look of amusement on her face as she watched me fall apart and trip over my words.

"You're going there with me," I struggled to find the right way to fix what I had said but I knew it only made me look more stupid.

"Okay, Levi."

"You're such a Brat."

She pulled on a pair of black heels to match her dress and grabbed her phone off of her nightstand.

"We should get an Uber," she suggested. I raised my eyebrow at her.

"We're probably both going to be wasted by the end of the night and neither of us are drunk driving," she explained. I nodded in agreement as she typed something into her phone. I sat down on my bed and waited for her to finish.

The car resembled mine greatly, a dark blue, sleek finish and chrome rims. Upon getting in, ______ shivered as her bare back hit the cold leather seat.

She made light conversation with the man at the wheel while I only spoke when spoken to. He seemed to take a liking to her and I couldn't help but feel a small pang of anger. It felt like the sore feeling, but a little different. It wasn't adoration I felt, but pure rage.

Was it jealousy?

When we arrived, the short bald man turned around and I was finally able to see his face. He had a thick beard and glasses similar to Hanji's. Since we paid beforehand, I got out of the car and stretched. The wind blew my hair out of my face as I walked around to open ______'s door, displeased to find that she'd done it herself.

"Thank you," she said to the man as she joined me.

We walked away from the car hand in hand as he drove off.

As soon as we entered the doors, the smell of alcohol filled our noses and ______ let go of my hand. Despite this, she continued to walk close beside me. We found seats in the bar area, and that's when I seen him, the blonde haired man from the first night I'd met ______. I didn't know why I hadn't noticed him standing there before, if I had I probably would have dragged ______ to the dance floor instead.

"Back again eh?" He said with a grin. It made me want to slap it right off of his face. ______ rolled her eyes and stayed silent.
