Pyrotechnic Dandelion: Noun Poem Elaboration

A dainty woman, strong in spirit

Standing alone in the night

Protective of her children

Sacrificing her self

Burning up

Loving

A spine once so stiff now bowed in pain

Shoulders slumped and weary

But determined to save her

Two offspring by giving

Up her great

Beauty

A frame so fragile

As rare as a

Hero

&

just

as

wantonly

destroyed and defiled

By the petty, jealous humans around her

She was

Genteel, Kind,

Gorgeous; A Noble

That lived by a code that would

Emphasize her passion, as bright and hot as a star

But just as brief; Humans would want to destroy her goodness

She would keep her loved ones from coming to harm when they came after her

I would

Not try to destroy.

No; I would want to protect her

To stop time to revel in her inner beauty

To bask in her courage, perseverance, honour, love

To try to learn from her, how to not lash out when hurt, to be so dedicated

I would want to save her, learn from her, & worship her brief & combustible beauty
