Just as our lips are going to meet, I feel sprinkles of water on my face.

Is it raining?

What-?

But how can it rain inside the hall?

Then suddenly there is a splash on my face and I shut my eyes tightly.

I hear a loud laugh beside me.

I wipe the water with my hand from my face and look around me. Then I see my friend, Lucas, laughing at me, a water bottle in his hand.

What the hell!

How dare he stops me from- Oops!

Was I dreaming?

"What? Dreaming about the dream girl again?"
He snorts and I scowl at him.

"What did you just do!"
I narrow my eyes at him and smack his shoulder.

"Woah, dude!"
He exclaims, rubbing his arm.
"Oh come on, bro, we both know that I'm not wrong, don't we?"
He smirks and wiggles his brows.

"No. Because you're wrong, I wasn't dreaming."
I shrug.

"Oh yeah, you're right. Because you were daydreaming."
He says with a smug look on his face, pointing a finger at me.

"I said I wasn't."
I snap.
"And you could have just shove me awake, why did you throw water on me? See what you did now."
I point towards the, now a little damp books and notes scattered on the table as water sprinkled on them from my face.

He looks at them and then back to me with a guilty smile, raising his hands in front of him.
"I'm sorry I didn't realize that. But you were looking so funny while daydreaming like that, I couldn't stop myself."
And then he bursts out laughing again.

I groan and face palm myself.

As I look up, I notice a head peeking in through the bookshelves in front of us.

"I remember hanging a 'Complete Silence' board at the main entrance of the library, so that people can notice it while entering. I assume, you both haven't noticed it eventually."
Bucky, our college librarian, states or more like growls, glaring at Lucas. Don't know how he becomes so angry and keeps his voice so low at the same time.

I stifle a laugh, looking at Lucas. He freezes at his place as he looks up at Bucky.

Bucky is a tall and strong looking, intimidating man in his late forties. All the students, in our college, are afraid of him. Well, I can't blame them. He does look a bit scary, when he glares.

And now he's carrying that exact look.

The look on Lucas' face is amazing. He looks scared and terrified.

And I high five Bucky, in my mind.

"If you can't follow the rules of a library then you shouldn't be in here. If you want to make noise like that, then you can leave right away."

I turn to look at Lucas and then back at Bucky.

"I'm sorry, Bucky. We both are sorry. He didn't realize it. It won't happen again, I promise."
I apologize, standing up, seeing as Lucas is too intimidated to say anything for the next few minutes.

I nudge his arm with my elbow and he nods.

Bucky's frown disappears and he looks at us with a stern look.
"Okay. I believe you. But it's the first and last time that you're getting away with a misrule like that."
And with that he disappears behind those shelves again.
