Beautiful.
It's the first word that comes to my mind as I watch her walking towards the dance floor, towards me.
I feel... mesmerized, by her.
She is wearing that beautiful light purple gown. The spotlight following her, enlightening her skin even more, as she walks on the big round dance floor.
Another spotlight is on me.
I hold my hand out for her to take as she stands, coming in front of me. Now, only one spotlight is on both of us as it separates us from the crowd.
I bow to her as she takes my hand. Her soft and warm hand sending tingles through mine as I hold her hand with a firm grip, placing a light kiss on the back of it.
She blushes a bit.
And then, the ever waiting moment comes.
"May I have this dance with you?"
I ask her, finally.She looks into my eyes and then with a little bow, she says,
"Yes, you may."The crowd chirps and claps around us.
I smile at her, feeling giddy, and she smiles back. I wrap my hand around her waist and she places hers on my shoulder. Our other hands entangling with each other.
The waltz music starts playing and we start moving along with it slowly.
We dance.
Step by step.
Being so close to each other.
Throughout the dancing, I can't take my eyes off her. She looks so beautiful and amazing.
At one moment, she looks up at me lovingly. A small smile playing on her beautiful face. I look into her eyes. They hold so much emotions in them that my heart flutters in my chest.
Suddenly she leans in towards me. Her face coming closer to mine. She stops when our faces are a few inches apart.
Wait-
Is she...? Is she going to kiss me?
Oh!
Oh no! It's really happening!
I find myself leaning in, too. Our faces are only an inch apart now. And then she starts closing the gap between our lips-
