The next morning I was laying in bed peacefully sleeping when this trumpet sound went off. The David's voice came over these loud speakers, "Good morning campers. It's a beautiful sunny day, everybody up, everybody moving. It's time to get this party grooving! As you know another Warrior Games is at hand. Will the Apostles hold onto their lead, or Will another team rise form the ashes and claim their throne."
The sound had finally stopped so I pulled the covers over my head. Then Avery and Presley started to jump around and be super noisy.
"Ugh, make it stop!" I groaned.
"Heyyy sleepy head!" Avery says in a cheerful tone.
"Go away!!"
"Come on! Even if we aren't on the same team I know the we are going to totally crush the competition." Presley says.
"It's gonna be epic!" Avery exclaims.
I sat up and said, "No no it's not epic! I am 17.6 miles away from civilization and surrounded by Jesus freaks!" I exclaimed as I flip back down onto my pillow.
"Wow. I feel like I should be offended by that, but I am honestly really impressed with your geography skills, like did you just know that?" Avery asks.
"Avery, remember rule number one?" I ask.
"Yeah.."
"Well, always have an exit plan" I state. "Problem is all roads lead to juvie this time." I sigh.
"Yeah, but this time you have me! And I'm not gonna let that happen." Avery says. Presley has walked out of the cabin a while ago, because I'm pretty sure I scared her off by all my yelling. The girls headed to breakfast while I got some more sleep for only about 10 minutes. I then went down to breakfast, but I was stopped by David.
"Hey Mack! How are you? How's camp?" David asks.
"Hey, I'm good. Camp seems like a great place." I smile at him. "Hey, what's the deal with the name of this camp? Aweegaway?"
