David's voice came over the speaker, " Good morning campers. It's a beautiful sunny day. Everybody up. Everybody moving. Time to get this party grooving! It was a week unlike any other. Today you will take home friendships that will last a lifetime. Remember that today is not good bye, it's see you later. Go out in the world, the great big awesome world and make some magic."
Presley, Avery and I walk across camp to where the buses are parked. I sit down on a bench alone. Lost in my thoughts thinking about how I probably will never see any of these people again. My thoughts were interrupted by someone coming up behind me and scaring me. I jump and I turn around and slap him playfully.
"Hey! What was that for?" He asks laughing.
I giggle.
"Mind if I sit?" He asks.
"Please." I say
"So...you coming back next year or what?" I ask.
"Hmm, well, that depends. Will you be here?" He asks while grabbing my hands and intertwining our fingers.
"Hmm, I think so...yes." I reply.
"Then chances are pretty good." He smiles and we both laugh.
Avery and I are now walking towards her dad talking.
"So what happens now?" She asks me.
"I'm not sure. I guess I'll just have to figure something out." I say.
"I'm gonna miss you."
"Im gonna miss you too." I say.
"All right you girls ready to go back home?" David asks.
"What do you mean?" I question.
"Mack, I'd really like you to come back home and live with us. But only if you want to." David says.
"Are you serious!?" I ask. I'm shocked.
"So we're sisters! Like legit sisters!" Avery exclaims
"Yes! Thank you!" I say hugging David.
"Oh my gosh! Thank you so much!" I say again and then Avery comes to join us.
I can't believe I'm getting adopted! That means no more running from police, not having to worry where I sleep at night, I'll have a family. I'll have a family again.
When we were done with our hugging session all the kids went near the bus and started to sing and dance. (Video down below)

This whole camp experience was really the best thing that could ever happen to me. I'm so thankful for the whole experience. And I most definitely can't wait to come back next year!
Author note: this was the last chapter I had to write!! Omg! I had so much fun while righting this book and I'm looking forward to starting another one.
