Olivia was three weeks away from being released. her family was there to visit for a little intervention. "How are you honey?" Olivia hasn't spoken to her parents during the entire time of being in rehab. She was upset with her mother for allowing this to continue to happen. Her mother should've protected her and she didn't. She knew it was time to forgive her in order to heal. "I'm good. I'm happy, and I'm ready to get out so that I can live my life" she told her mother. "Well that's good honey. I miss you so much, you have no idea" she told Olivia. "We both do" Billy said. "You know this could've been prevented. But instead you allowed Harold to pay you to keep quiet. Pay you to have those charges dropped. All because you are a DA and they will do what you want. Because not only you're a DA but a white DA" Laura looked down. "What's wrong mom? Is this uncomfortable? Well it should be. Because this is how I felt my entire marriage with him. Uncomfortable... I hesitated at first to allow you to come see me. But I knew this was a way for me to fully heal. I forgive you for allowing money to come between us. I love you mom. Believe it or not, I love you. But... it's as far as it's going to go. We might be able to have a relationship in the near future. I don't know. I'm not sure. But I'm ready to rebuild my life again. And I need to do that with the right people right right now you're not the right person" Olivia stood up ready to go back to her room. " I hope you're able to forgive yourself for what you did. Because I know you're beating yourself up about it. But forgive yourself mom. It's the only way to move forward" Olivia said before walking to the door. "Olivia..." Olivia stopped, she left over her shoulder at her mom. "I'm so sorry" Laura cried. Olivia ignored her apology and left.

After Olivia entered rehab, Spencer went off to finish the rest of the season. They were successful in the playoffs and were now heading to the Super Bowl to face off the Patriots. They were on a plane heading to Arizona where the Super Bowl will be played that. He was on the plane with his teammates when he received a letter. It was from Olivia. He say back in his seat as he began to read it.

Liv's POV

Dear Spencer, I'm sorry that I've been turning down your request to see me. I just can't face you right now. I hope you understand. Truth be told, I went to rehab because I needed to get better. But that's not the only reason why. I went to rehab because I felt something. I felt something that reminded me of being in love with you. It scared me. I wasn't in the right place to be loved by someone and to love them back because it will only hurt you at the end. I needed to get better. I needed to heal. I am okay now but I'm not what you call perfect because no one is. But I'm better than what I was the last time I saw you. I see that you're playing ball again. As you should! Make the playoffs, get to the Super Bowl and take home the trophy. I know you will. I haven't said it lately but I'm proud of you. You deserve the best Spencer. On the field and off the field. Like I said before, don't wait for me.

Spencer sighed before putting the letter in his pocket. Eight hours later he was on the field playing in the championship game. Miami Dolphins were down by 14 in the fourth quarter against The New England Patriots, with eight minutes left in the game. Spencer was frustrated on the sidelines. He felt like the game kept slipping away from him and his teammates. He wasn't having the best game because their defense and offense was just that good. He was playing on both sides of the field. Doing the very best he can to take home the championship. And because he was playing both sides of the field he was extremely exhausted but refused to sit on the sidelines. "Come on baby" Grace said as she watched her son play. "They'll get this win baby" D'Angelo said seated beside her. They were also sitting with Dillion and Jasmine as well. " I don't know... New England Patriots are too damn good. My baby is so frustrated" Grace sighed. Billy and Laura were also in the stans alongside Jordan and Simone. "This isn't looking too good for Spence" Jordan said after Spencer caught the ball but dropped it after getting hit hard to the ground. "Damn it!" they heard Spencer shout from the field out of frustration. "He will figure it out" Billy said before looking up at the scoreboard seeing there was now a little over six minutes left in the game. After they lost possession the offense went off the field except for Spencer. He looked up at the stands sighing and damn near froze when he saw a familiar face. It can't be her. He thought she was in rehab. But little did he know that she was released a day before this game. Olivia stood in the stands chanting him on. When she saw him stare up at her heart melted. She didn't expect them to notice her throughout all the fans in the stands. Seeing her reminded him the type of player he is. He got in the huddle with his teammates and they drawn the play for this possession. Spencer knew what he had to do. And he succeeded. He knew they were running a play action and the moment he saw his defender trying to cut down field he immediately beat him to the punch by catching the ball in mid air for an interception. The crowd went wild as he sprinted down field getting a good 37 yards before getting tackled to the ground. They were in field-goal range. Spencer couldn't stop looking up at the stands, seeing her who was now smiling. It brought a smile to his face before he got in the huddle with his teammates on offense. They had no time to waste so they decided to pass from here on out. They were running a slant and were calling Spencer's number. The moment the quarterback snapped the ball Spencer took off running and juked his defender towards the middle and immediately caught the ball and started to sprint down field with the defenders chasing after him. He was finally taken down by the 5 yard line. It was now three minutes left in the game. Spencer wanted the ball but this time as a running back. The quarterback did what he asked which got them a touchdown by him diving over the defenders as the linemen gave him good blocking. They were now down by seven, after kicking the extra point. When they got on defense Spencer knew if they don't stop New England Patriots by the time it gets to the one minute mark then they will be in trouble because now they will have to use their timeouts if they don't stop them from getting a first down. New England failed to get yards on the first down. The second down they gain 5 yards with the running back. But they had to take a quick break because of the two minute warning. After the two minute warning they got back on the field ready for the third down. This time it was a pass that failed due to Spencer knocking the ball away from his defender. New England Patriots punted the ball away with the receiver waving for a fair catch before catching the ball. They knew the defenders were going to be watching Spencer and to be double teaming him. So they wanted to switch things up by passing the ball to different receivers, gaining as many yards that they could. When they got down to 20 seconds left with 0 time outs remaining they knew if they don't get this TD right now, then they will probably get one more play out before the game was over. They did not want that because that means they would have to rush. They decided to run a trick play which got New England Patriots confused. They thought they were going to pass the ball but instead they tossed the ball to Spencer who took off running across the field before running down field with the defenders chasing after him before he reached for the touchdown. Olivia placed her hand over her heart as it was pounding extremely fast. She saw that they were going for the win by going for two points instead of kicking the extra points to tie the game. If they don't get this it's game over. All Spencer could think about in that moment was his father. He can just see his father smiling down at him prouder than ever. The moment he heard the snap he ran forward for about 5 yards before cutting down in the middle, catching the ball as he got hit hard by his defender but he tucked it in tightly before falling down with the entire stadium cheering loudly. Olivia was jumping up and down happy for him knowing that this game was now over with 3 seconds left in the game. New England Patriots only had time to try to throw a Hail Mary before it was picked off by Spencer himself who ended up kneeling down before running across the field with the ball in his hands as they were now the NFL champions. After celebrating being the of NFL champions by the commissioner Spencer was looking for one pacific person, Olivia.
