Spencer broke into the room to find Olivia trying to OD. He slapped the pills out of her hand "Bastard!" she started to hit him. "I'm not letting you Jill yourself he was blocking her punches. "Fuck you! I hate you so much" she continued to hit at him. "Baby, please... stop" he grabbed her. "Let me go" she shouted. "I'm not letting you go" she broke down in tears "Let me go Spencer" she cried. They dropped to their knees. He continued to hold her. "I hate you" she cried. Hearing those words hurt him so much but he knew she was completely broken. She doesn't love herself for the person Asher made her out to be. If she doesn't love herself, she couldn't love him so he believed her. "Just let me die, please, let me die" she sobbed. Spencer had tears welled up in his eyes. He felt his heartbreaking. "I would never do that. You die. I die. That's how that'll work. I love you, Liv" his voice cracked. "Stop caring about me. You deserve so much better... I'm not the same person and never will be. You have to let me go" she cried trying to pushing against his chest so that he could let her go but he only held her closer. "I'm not letting you go. I've always been there for you and I'm not about to stop now. He broke you to where you think you don't deserve happiness when truly you do. You will be better than ever, it will take time but eventually you will be happy again" he told her. "No.. no" she sobbed. "I'm better off dead. I don't want the nightmares anymore. Him suffocating me" A tear fell from his eyes.
Spencer wanted to take the pain away from her. But he knew he couldn't. The man that is still, till this day, good at helping people. He knew he couldn't help her with this one. Asher traumatized her and mentally destroyed her. She was a lot thinner than she was when he last saw her. He knew Asher was starving her and when she was able to eat, she had to eat off the floor like a dog. "Where you going?" Olivia wiped the snot from underneath her nose. "Anywhere but here. I can't be near you. Too many memories, and I just don't want to feel that anymore because I just don't know what to feel anymore. I just need to leave and just go to some thing" she told him. "Drugs?" She was silent. "He drugged you and now you need a fix. I'm not about to let you walk out that door" she glared at him. "You're gonna stop me?" Spencer crossed his arms. She walked up to him, pushing him "Let me go!" She shouted trying to push him some more but he didn't budge. "Are you done?" She shook her head in disbelief. "I hate you. If you would've been faithful, we'd be together. But instead you had to go for that slutty ass bitch Rochelle" he was silent. "Oh, you're not gonna deny it this time?" This time out of anger, she slapped him in the face and yelled out "I hate you!!" He then lost it "Hate me then! You're still going to rehab. You need help" he shouted. "I'm not going to rehab and you can't make me. I'm a grown ass woman. I make my own choices" she said calmly. "Liv... I'm sorry. I'm sorry that I wasn't the best boyfriend that I should've been our college years. But that does not mean you deserve this because you don't. I should've stopped you from walking out the door. I shouldn't have been with Rochelle. But I can't take that back, you learn from your mistakes and you move on" she tucked her lips in as the tears were flowing, she shook her head at him full of anger and hate. "If I hadn't been with Rochelle, then you wouldn't have been with Asher and I hate myself right now because of it. You don't think I blame myself? I tried to make you jealous. I tried to make you hurt. I wanted you to hurt so bad because I was mad that you left me. Everyone kept talking about how the star football player got dumped. And it all backlashed on me... My only priority right now is for you to get help. You are not healthy at all. And I can't allow this to continue to happen" he stepped to her taking her hands in his. "Liv.... I need you to forgive me" she was looking down. " this is painful enough, seeing you suffer...." he trailed off. "You want me to forgive you?" She slowly looked up at him before shaking her head "I don't" she let his hands go before walking back into the bedroom, closing it. Spencer looked down sad, he sat down with a few tears escaping his eyes.
Jordan got home from the hospital with Simone. "Hey man" Spencer wiped his eyes. "You been crying?" Simone asked him. Spencer stood up before clearing his throat "How you feeling?" Jordan was concerned for his friend. "I'm good but you don't seem good. Everything's alright?" Spencer slowly shook his head. "It's my sister isn't it? You two talk or something?" Spencer sat back down. They both sat next to him. "She blames me. If I... would've just stopped her from leaving... If I would've just been faithful by telling her about Rochelle being my tutor I would've— we wouldn't be in this situation. It didn't help that I ended up dating Rochelle shortly after our break up. Man I pushed her to Asher" Spencer was disappointed in himself. "Don't beat yourself up man. Even if y'all wouldn't have lasted regardless of the circumstance. She made a choice to be with Asher. She should never had gotten back with him. And I'm not blaming her for what has happened to her because, no one knew this would ever happen. But, you can't beat yourself up" Jordan told his best friend. "She hates me... hearing those words come out of her mouth hurts" Spencer looked down. "We all know that Olivia does not hate you" Simone told him. "No, she really does. If you see the way she looks at me. If you heard the way she said it, she hates me..." he told Simone. "I'll talk to her."
"Olivia?" Simone walked in her room, closing the door. "Go away...." she was laying on her stomach with her head turned the opposite direction, crying silently. "I'm sorry but I can't. You're my sister and believe it or not, you want me here" Olivia was silent because she knew it was true. "I get it. You are angry towards a lot of people because we did not see the signs. We did not feel the cry for help. But, we all love you so much. And we want you to get better. You need help Olivia. We would not say this if you didn't. He will never come out of you again, just know that" Simone walked around the bed, kneeling down in front of her. She caressed her sister in-laws cheek. "It's okay..." Olivia shut her eyes while she sobbed. "It is okay... you're safe now. I made sure of that. All the pain. All the heartache. The suffocation. Being treated worse than any type of animal in the universe. It is over with. He is dead and he's never coming back. It's time to get the help that you deserve. But you can't push us away. You owe me that. And when I mean us, Spencer included. You know he would never do anything to hurt you intentionally. College was college. Whatever happened between him and Rochelle, leave it there. He is sorry and he is beating himself up heavily right now because he blames himself. And I understand why you blame him and hate him right now but sis, he is sorry and he loves you so much. Let him be here for you" she continued to caresses Olivia'a cheek.
30 minutes later they came out of the room. Both Spencer and Jordan stood up. Simone looked over at Olivia. "I can't go to rehab... I can't go back there. I hate it there...but, I'll contact Joy" Jordan nodded. "But it doesn't change anything between us" she looked at Spencer. "I meant everything I said" he felt his heart sink down to his stomach. He felt his throat tightened as he swallowed hard. Tears were welling up in his eyes. "Go back to playing football and fucking random women on the daily basis. Because there's no future for us" she said before turning around, going back into the bedroom. Spencer waited until the door closed to let it out. He looked down with tears falling. Jordan hugged his best friend while Simone stood in shock.
