Kyo lept from thick tree branch to tree branch leaving behind ferocious claw marks, trying to take in what just transpired.

"She saw me. She saw me. She saw me!" he gritted his razor-sharp teeth "It's over. It's all over. I'm... done for." He felt his voice crack, he no longer had the strength to yell. Deep and intoxicating agony overwhelmed him. The one he cared so much for, the one who he treasured deeply, saw his repulsive true form. She saw it all unravel right before her eyes.

He's lost her. Of course, nothing good ever lasts long. Not for the Sohmas. Not for the wretched Cat Spirit.

"That is the other form that Kyo, who has the Cat spirit, was hiding." Kazuma explained to a shaken Tohru "Does it.. disgust you?" He didn't bear to look at Tohru. He knew what kind of face she was making, all because of him. "Does it scare you?". Tohru, submerged in emotion and confusion, slowly began after Kyo, not being able to answer Kazuma's questions. Kagura from the window, clutched the curtain tightly over her face. Her expression was dim. Kazuma, from outside, gently picked up the rosary from the ground.

"Will you comfort him for me?" Kazuma thought hopingly. He knows that what he's doing is selfish, giving such an overwhelming task and burden to Tohru. Although, Kazuma knew that Tohru truly is the only one who can help Kyo.

Tohru ran through the forest without a clear destination, her heart still pounding mightily. She had trouble keeping her breath and her head spun. As she ran, she stumbled on a tree branch and fell across the root of a tree. One of her slippers fell away from her. The strap, ripped. Laying feebly across the tree root, she felt weak. She struggled to catch her breath. To believe the circumstances that just flashed before her eyes. That creature... That smell... That was Kyo? The scent, the nauseating transformation and his horrendous true form all suddenly smacked Tohru in the face. She held her mouth as she felt something bitter thrust up her throat. She began to throw up. She couldn't hold it in. Tears welled up in her eyes as she covered her mouth.

"A smell that I've never smelled. A form that I've never seen.." she thought "Is that Kyo-kun's other form?"

She coughed and hacked. "What should I do? What's going on? I don't know what the right thing to do is." Tohru leaned her hand on the tree trunk beside her as she struggled to get back on her feet. "But...Even so!"

Past the trees near an open river in the heart of the forest, Kyo sat on top of a sizable rock. His head held down, his atrocious body facing the gray waters. It was still so bleak and colorless. The weather did not make Kyo feel any better than he already felt. The rain dribbled onto Kyo mercilessly.

"What's the matter?" Kyo's mother crooned in his head. He remembered a time where he was crunched up in a corner, crying to himself when he was a child. Somewhat similar to how he was feeling now. His mother found him all alone then.

"Did something happen again?"

"Kyo, did Akito say something to you?

"It's all right." his mother placed her arms around Kyo lightly "Because.."

"Stop.." Kyo muttered.

He remembered his mother softly raising Kyo's wrist to check for the rosary.

"--...I love you."

"STOP IT!" Kyo furiously smashed his grotesque fist into the cliff behind him. It cracked and slowly slid down. "I've had enough.." he murmured. He was so tired of such fake words.

His ear twitched slightly, sensing the presence of someone else. He whipped his head behind him to see puny Tohru holding her stomach and using the tree trunk beside her to keep her balance. Her face was red, she was covered in dirt, and her hair was disordered.

"Kyo-kun..." she murmured in a soft voice.

"Stay away!" Kyo shouted harshly. His voice sounded different; jarring, low and deafening. "Why..." he thought.

"Why the hell are you following me like nothing's the matter?!" he bellowed

"Kyo-kun.."

"--I said stay away!" Kyo yelled "What's wrong with you? Are you blind? Can't you smell?! We both know I'm creepy and sickening!"

Tohru slowly approached the towering and gruesome Kyo in front of her.

"Why can't you just leave me alone?!" he got crouched down on his arms. Tohru slowly climbed up the muddy hill he stood on.

"I don't need any of your pity!" he bawled. "Please.." Kyo thought wishingly "Please, no more.".

Tohru slowly reached her hand out to Kyo "Kyo-kun, but... but I.."

Those words triggered Kyo's memory of the time his mother tried to "comfort" him. "I love--" his mother used to say.

Kyo, distraught and sick of remembering those fake words of affection, thrusted Tohru up into the air with his powerful cursed fists.

"Don't touch me!" he screamed.

Tohru, drifting through the air, shocked after being fiercely struck by Kyo.
