You can probably tell by the title, but there will be panic attacks in this story.
I AM NOT TRYING TO SEXUALIZE HIM AS HE IS A MINOR LIKE TOMMY. IF I MENTION ANYTHING THAT COULD MAKE HIM UNCOMFORTABLE PLEASE TELL ME AND I WILL TAKE THIS DOWN ASAP! (That was aggressive for no reason I-)It was about time when Toby started to stream, but something didn't feel right.
He had locked himself inside of his room, and I couldn't tell what he was doing.
Maybe it was a surprise for his Twitch audience? I didn't know.
I decided that he's most likely fine, and go to sit on the couch.
Toby invited me over a lot, and it's getting to the point I spend more time at his house than at my own.
I knew his house like the back of my hand, so finding the couch was a simple task.
I was about to sit down, but I heard heavy breathing coming from his room.
We were the only ones at the house then, so it couldn't have been anyone besides him.
I worriedly rush to his room, and attempt to open his door forgetting it is locked.
The loud bang of my attempt to open the door obviously startled him from the inside, making him gasp from fear.
"I'm so sorry!" I say, hoping he can hear me from the inside of his room.
He doesn't respond, and all that I can hear is his breathing which is getting more and more intense.
"Toby what's wrong?" I ask, as I start to get even more worried.
I hear the click of the door unlocking, but he doesn't open it.
I slowly open the door, and find him in the corner with his knees tucked into his chest.
"Toby!" I run over to hug him.
I can feel him shaking and his breathing still heavy.
"Are you okay?" I ask him, brushing the hair out of his eyes.
His beautiful eyes look up at me, although right now they were quite red and watery from crying.
He just shakes his head "no" and I sit down next to him.
"Do you want to talk about it?" I ask, putting my arm around him.
He doesn't respond, but grabs me by the shirt and starts hugging me.
He's crying quite hard and then it finally clicked: he's having a panic attack.
"Do you want to do some breathing exercises?" I ask, rubbing his back while he's still in the hug.
He shakily nods.
I look a few up on the internet to make sure I don't do anything wrong.
"Breath in, breath out..." I say, slowly.
Eventually he calms down, besides for doing the thing where you uncontrollably start breathing heavily at random.
I cradle him in my arms.
"You don't have to stream today. I'm sure your fans will understand." I say, looking down at him.
"Do you think?" He says, his voice shaky.
"I know. Your fan base is one of the best that I have ever seen." I say, playing with his hair.
He smiles.
"Can I tell you what happened?" He asked.
I'm still playing with his hair.
"Sure." I say.
"So, basically someone on my stream was saying they were going to end their life, and I didn't know how to respond. I don't want to really deal with that kind of stuff because I don't want to be their therapist. It ruins the mood of the stream, but I would feel selfish if I didn't answer." He spills everything out. I could feel the weight being lifted off of his chest.
"You shouldn't be your chats therapist. I'm really sorry you had to go through that." I say, wrapping my arms around him.
"Thank you, Y/N." He says, looking up towards my eyes.
"No need to thank my, Toby." I say, smiling.
