Chapter eleven

"A very intoxicating blue that one couldn't help but look at."

"So dad what are we doing for Father's Day?" Isla asks as we sit at the dining table eating dinner.

"We're going to have a picnic on the beach with the Cameron's" he says happily taking a sip of his wine.

"Really?" I asked a bit taken a back.

Though my parents were divorced we would see him nearly every fathers day and he wouldn't hesitate to make it all about himself.

"Yes really, I thought it would be fun" he shrugs and Amy smiles "Yes honey it sounds very fun"

"Isla come on we have to leave!" I shout to my sisters grabbing my skateboard.

We have to go to the store and pick out a Father's Day present for dad seeing as Father's Day is literally tomorrow.

Isla comes downstairs in one of my shirts and holding her pink skateboard.

"I want my shirt back when we get home" "Whatever" she rolls her eyes and we go out the door.

We skate into town and find the nearest gift shop.

"Hey Bee it's nice to see you again!" The cashier says happily.

"Oh my gosh hey Harry, I didn't know you worked here"

Harry was my crush during freshmen year but nothing ever came from it.

"Yeah I just started, what are you doing here? Isn't this a little far from home?" He cocks his head to the side his eyes filled with curiosity.

I haven't talked to him since freshmen year so it's definitely been a while considering I just finished senior year.

"Oh no, I live in figure eight now. It's really close" I give a small smile.

"Ah ok, how's kook life treating you?" "Not at all, I still spend all my time in the cut"

"Oh, maybe we should hang out some time" he smiles at me "Maybe we should" I wink at him then Isla and I set to explore the store.

"So what are we getting dad exactly?" She asks touching random things on the shelf.

"We'll know when we find it"

We spend about twenty minutes exploring the store.

We find one of those worlds best dad trophy's, some cheap but expensive looking cologne, and a watch.

"This it?" Harry asks as he rings the items up. "Yeah I think so, Isla?" I look towards her and she nods.

"Mmhm" I smile at him once he finishes ringing up the items I pay then he hands me the receipt.
