Enjoy~

You sat on the couch in Nekomata's office, knees pulled to your chest as you stared at the box in front of you. Your eyes were red and slightly damp from the cry you had done, your throat was sore, you were numb.

You haven't spoke a word to anyone. Memories from earlier playing in your head.

"Can you save them?" You asked, voice breaking as you looked at the doctor in front of you.

He opened his mouth, hesitantly speaking, "I'm sorry, (L/n), it's to late."

Your eyes landed on your siblings as nurses pulled covers over them, "It can't be," You shook your head, denying it, "Try again! You can't be to late!"

"(L/n)-"

"Try again!"

Nekomata pulled you away from the doctor, "I'm sorry," He told the doctor.

"No, I'm sorry," The doctor said sadly before walking away.

You crumbled to the ground, slamming your hand against the ground.

Everything was gone in a flash. You couldn't protect them like you thought you could. You thought by leaving, you were protecting them. But it wasn't you they needed to be protected from.

'I'm sorry, Pandora. I should've let you out.'

Pandora hasn't spoken to you ever since the event. Not saying a word.

Your head rested against the back of the couch, before you hesitantly reached for the box, opening it up as you dropped your legs. You sat normally on the couch, Nekomata's faint voice was heard as you opened up the box.

Inside the box were numerous letters and papers, all with your name on them, except for one which had Nekomata's name on it. You placed it next to you before grabbing one of the letters,

Letter One, Was written on the front of the envelope, your name underneath it. With a shaky breath, you opened the letter.

My dearest (Y/n),

You're reading this because I either thought you were old and mature enough to know the truth, or I was killed. Let's hope it's the first option. I've kept my past hidden from you. You never knew your grandparents because of this.

Your father was in a very dangerous gang, one more dangerous and evil than The Cats, more than The Eagles. The only person he ever cared about was himself. But that was until I met him in school, that's where I fell in love with him. I managed to get him to let down his walls he held up to let me in. I learned everything about him, and it didn't change how I felt.

After we found out I was pregnant with you, your father left his gang and his past life. There was no fighting, killing, starting fires or even competitions. It was just you, your father and me. Our lives changed for the better, or so I thought. Just after Akira was born, your father changed... He began to act like he did in high school, distanced and closed off. Those nights he left us alone, I knew something was happening, and I wish I had done something about it sooner. I didn't want to pester him about it, but then Meiko was on the way, that's when I decided to act.

(Y/n), I told you that your father had left for another woman, which wasn't a complete lie but he also became leader of his old gang. He wanted to take you with him to raise you as one of the strongest killers on this Earth, but I wouldn't allow him too. I didn't want him to choose what you did with your life.
