From the moment (D/n) placed her next to you, Pandora immediately gained a liking to you, she wanted nothing more than to protect you.

You were only a week old when your father brought Pandora to you. Your mother was at work and left you with him, that's when he decided to test Pandora on you.

She was kept in a jar, not a lot of space in her opinion. She was a smaller Dragon than she was now. But the moment her eyes set on your sleeping body, she knew what she needed to do. A motherly sense kicked in, "I'll protect you forever, (Y/n)," She whispered, a hand on your cheek before she walked down to your arm, and sunk into your skin, disappearing.

She hid herself from (Y/n), although, there were times where she wanted to force herself to take over, to scold the children who picked on you, who hurt you, but she didn't want scare you, so she continued to hide, waiting for the perfect time to appear.

She watched your actions from the back of your mind, listening to what others said to you, what they did to you. She learned what you learned, she watched as you grew. She was there when your father left you at the age of thirteen. Your body shut down, your emotions left, swirling into a bottle where you put the cap on it, keeping them trapped.

She was there as kids made fun of you because you no longer had a father, how you would just shut them out. But a week after your father had left, Takeru, your biggest bully, cornered you and Tendou. The red head had pushed you behind him, taking a protective stance in front of you.

But the more Takeru taunted you about your father, about your family, the more he taunted and teased, the more the bottle that held your emotions cracked, until it finally exploded. That night, Pandora was angry with his words and shoved herself forward, taking control of you. While Tendou fought against the other children, she fought Takeru, pushing him to the ground. Between your anger and hers, there was no one to stop either of you.

Nekomata and Washijo watched the fight happen, offered (Y/n) a spot in the gang, and Pandora had hoped you would take one of their offers, she didn't care who it was. But when you declined, that's when Pandora knew (Y/n) was back.

And that's when she introduced herself to you. You were scared at first, not knowing what was happening. But Pandora soothed you, told you she was just there to protect you, that she was there since you were a baby.

She helped you with homework, beside's math, she helped you with Meiko when you didn't know what to do at some points. She comforted you when your bullies hurt you, when they got to you. She was always there.

Though, (Y/n) always denied Pandora to take over, Pandora still did her best to protect you. She was still learning about her abilities, and when you slept peacefully, Pandora would either leave the house and into a forest to learn more about herself, or she would slip into Meiko's room, making sure the baby was alright. Sometime's, Pandora would read Meiko a book, or even color with the girl. And when Meiko tried to tell (Y/n) or your mother about it, the two of you would go along, agreeing that Pandora was an imaginary friend or just appeared in Meiko's dreams.

(Y/n), as much as she loved Pandora, wanted to keep Pandora a secret, afraid of what would happen if her siblings knew about her. Would they go out and tell people about Pandora? Would people even believe them? If they did, what would happen to (Y/n)?

Pandora was (Y/n)'s best friend, and you were hers.

That's why you sent her to someone else. To protect her just like she protected you.

Pandora flew through the streets of Tokyo, trying to find where Kuroo could be. Her eyes caught onto a Fukurodani jacket, making her fly down towards the person. It was Haruki Komi.

He walked with his hands tucked in his jacket pockets, jogging forward.

Maybe he's going to Fukurodani? And after the attack on Nekoma's gang house, I'm going to assume Nekomata and the gang are at The Owl's gang house.

She flew above Komi, her eyes never leaving his form, hoping he was heading to the gang house. She was worried about you, you pushed her away when Pandora tried to latch onto you again. You kept pushing her away, telling her to go and find someone from any of the gangs, she didn't care who it was.

But there was only two people Pandora would trust to go to, Kuroo and Tendou. But Tendou had already told Pandora, that if the time were to come, where (Y/n) pushed her away, he didn't want Pandora to come to him.

Tendou and Pandora got along very well, and Pandora loved Tendou, looking up to him as if he were her older brother. She had met him in the woods when she would go out to train, not that she'd tell (Y/n) that. The two agreed that they needed someone similar to (Y/n), someone who could keep calm with Pandora, someone who could hold her back if the time were to come.

And that's why he told her he didn't want Pandora to come to him. He would let her do what she wants, he would her take control of him and get revenge. He wasn't the person/host Pandora needed.

Beside's, Kuroo knew about Pandora now. He's the one who would be calm if Pandora sunk into him like she did you. He was the only other person Pandora could trust.

Pandora snapped out of her thoughts, focusing on Komi who walked up to a house.

The gang house.

She swooped down, clinging onto Komi's shoe as he walked inside the house.

"Welcome back, Komi. Captain's on a mission, and the bosses are upstairs-"

Pandora let go of Komi's shoe, flying up the stairs, searching for Nekomata. She listened closely, hearing his voice in the hallway. She flew closer to it, hearing it grow louder and louder before she finally see a door, which was opened slightly.

She squeezed through the tiny crack between the door and frame, eyes landing on Nekomata. She flew up to the ceiling, clinging onto it as she walked so she could see the desk.

She made her tail stick to the ceiling before going upside down. Oh, man, I hope I only need to do this once.

Her eyes settled on a map, a red circle around one of the buildings, "It's empty? What do you mean it's empty? Have you searched every floor?"

That's where Kuroo is!

She left the room, making sure no one could see her as she flew throughout the house, looking for an opening of some sort. But every window and door she seen was shut. She could feel herself begin to stress, not wanting to wait for Kuroo to get back in order to see him.

She heard a door slid open, making her quickly shoot towards the sound. Lev was about to close the door as he entered the house, but she was quick to squeeze through the gap that was getting smaller.

She let out a sigh of relief, shaking her head slightly. That was close.

She shot to the sky, flying quickly to her destination, in hopes she could get there before Kuroo could leave. She let out a squeal seeing a bird flying straight at her, making her stop flying and start falling towards the ground.

She screamed, seeing the ground getting closer to her within seconds. She quickly flapped her wings, her breathing shaky as she caught herself.

"We're alright, we're good." She assured herself before starting to fly again. She pushed herself to fly as fast as she could, trying to get to Kuroo quickly.

Her eyes flickered between the houses below her, looking for the house that was circled on the map.

"Where is it? Where is it?"

She could feel her claws begin to shake, anxiety settling in. She could feel herself weaken, and tears filled her eyes, scared she wasn't going to find Kuroo in time. She needed to find him soon. She couldn't go long without a host, only about an hour or two. And that time was coming to an end. If she didn't find one soon, it's possible she could disappear.

But her eyes caught onto the house she needed, and she screamed a "Yes!" as she flew down to the house. She flew into the house, but her eyes met with a pair of dark brown eyes. His hair was pulled up into a bun, and his jaw dropped the moment he seen Pandora, but it wasn't him who shouted, but rather Iwaizumi,

"What the hell is that thing!?"
