Your ears rung, the world around you went silent. You watched Kuroo's body slowly fall to the ground. Your skin tingled, and tears welled up in your eyes. Your hand moved from the glass to cover your mouth.
Trees filled your vision as a wave of coldness took over. Your forehead pressed against the glass, and you took in a shaky breath. Your eyes closed shut and sob escaped your lips.
You were scared. Terrified.
What was going to him? Was he dead?
"If only he didn't care for you."
Kuroo...
. . . .
The gang house of Fukurodani was quiet. The air was filled with frustration, guilt, sadness, it was tense.
Akaashi sat with Bokuto and Kenma, all three waiting for an update on Kuroo who was in surgery. Kuroo refused to go to a hospital, and began to plan on finding you. But, thanks to Nekomata and Bokuto, they got him in the car to get to The Owl's gang house, since they had a doctor who would come in to check up on the gang.
Bokuto leaned up against the wall, his arms crossed, jaw tensed. Kenma curled into a chair, bags under his eyes, but he distracted himself with a game. Akaashi kept an eye on the two, sitting in a chair silently.
All though they didn't share their thoughts with each other verbally, mentally, they all knew what each other were going through. Akaashi and Kenma blamed themselves for not doing a better job at protecting you, guarding you, saving you. Bokuto blamed himself for not being there, for not understanding why Kuroo left in a hurry. He should've trusted Kuroo's gut, should've turned the car around the moment Kuroo began to say something was wrong.
Then, there was Nekomata. He stood in Yamiji's office, a map resting on the desk, a bunch of folders on top. He dug through everything, trying to gain information on where you could be. The Black Mamba, (D/n) gang, had many places you could be in. He carried the weight of regret and anger of loosing you. He shouldn't have made a meeting with the other gang leaders, not with the captains anyways. All the other gangs were on their way to The Owl's house.
"You know, it's amazing how Kuroo dodged that bullet," Bokuto mumbled, dragging his hand down his face, "It's like he predicted it."
"Kuroo and Ace have been enemies for the longest time," Kenma replied with a sigh, watching his switch die. The game console dropped from his hands, landing in his lap, "Ace has pulled the same tricks almost every time he see's Kuroo. I just wonder if he knew that Ace was in (D/n) gang, because I didn't."
The bullet had just grazed Kuroo's skin, but it still required him to get stitches. "Kuroo's a strong son of a bitch," Bokuto let out a breathy laugh.
The door to they room they were waiting out of, whipped open, revealing Kuroo. His left arm was in a sling, his jacket and trench coat hung over the opposite shoulder. His once white shirt was now stained with red, his left sleeve missing. His expression was emotionless, his jaw tense.
Akaashi and Kenma stood out of the chairs they were sitting in as Kuroo's eyes trailed between the three, "Are the other gangs here?" He asked, his voice gruff.
"Not yet," Kenma answered as Kuroo walked down the hallway, the three following him.
"Where's boss?"
"In the office with Yamiji."
"Good. Let's see if we can bring (Y/n) home."
. . .
"Boss wanted her to have this room. You know, make her feel more comfortable."
You scoffed and shook your head. The room you were in was big. It had a slanted window roof, the walls painted (F/c). The bed, which had black covers and white sheets, rested against the wall across the roof. Book shelves rested on each wall, filled with books. There was a desk underneath the window roof, pencils and pens resting on top of it. There was a big closet behind the door, and a bathroom next to the closet. There was a door in the closet that also lead to the bathroom.
You were somewhere you didn't know, with people you didn't trust. How could you feel comfortable in a place like this? Especially with (D/n) here.
You leaned up against the window, looking out the glass on the roof. You were worried about Kuroo.
"Relax, Ace. Give her time to warm up."
Your body tensed up, staring at the door, waiting for (D/n) to come in.
Should we fight?
'No. I don't know what'll happen to you. They know your with me, they know your weakness. Just not yet.'
You could hear Pandora let out a sigh and sink back into the back of your mind, leaving you alone.
The door opened, and you tensed up, watching (D/n) enter the room. He was dressed in a black suit, wearing a pair of black gloves to match. Ace walked in after him, wearing something similar, but instead of the suit jacket, he wore a trench coat.
"Wearing suits won't make you look better," You mumbled, rolling your eyes as you got off of the floor. Ace shot you a glare, making the corner of your lips to twitch upwards.
"Where's Pandora, (Y/n)?" (D/n) questioned, tilting his head to the side.
Of course that's all he wanted, that's all he ever cared about. He never cared about you, about your family, just him and his selfish reasons. "She's dead," You told him, keeping a straight face on.
"No, she's not-"
"Yeah, you're right, I actually gave her to someone else," You clicked your tongue, turning so your back was facing the two males, and your eyes stared into the woods. "I didn't want her, so I told her to leave."
"Who did you give her to!?" (D/n) gritted his teeth.
Pandora snickered, Tell him you gave me to a dog.
You didn't answer either of the two, staying quiet.
"Ace, I don't care what it takes, get that information out of her!" (D/n) shouted, leaving the room.
You jumped hearing the door slam against the wall. Slowly, you turned around, meeting Ace's gaze. A smirk was on his face as he licked his lips.
"We're going to have some fun, (Y/n)." He walked closer to you, his hand rested on your waist and he pulled you into him. You put your hands on his chest, attempting to push him away from you, "There's two types of fun we can do, depends on how cooperative you can be."
