It was dark out, the stars twinkling in the distance, the moonlight shining through the window you stood at with Suna and Kazuko.

Suna's arms were crossed as he still leaned up against the pillar, you stood in front of him with Kazuko next to you. The males eyes still flickered from (D/n) and Hera from time to time, his lips would occasionally pull up into a smile at something either you or Kazuko would say, whether it be a snappy remark about Misako or (D/n) or something ridiculous from your past.

"Kazuko," You spoke, turning to the girl, "Why didn't you tell me you were my sister?" You frowned up at her.

Kazuko fiddled with her fingers as she let out a sigh, "I didn't know how you would react. I didn't want you to push me away, not when you needed someone."

"I wouldn't have push you away, not if you had just told me the truth," You furrowed your eyebrows, clenching your dress between your fingers, "I want to know something, are you my step sister or-"

"I'm your sister, blood sister," Kazuko's green eyes connected with yours, "(M/n) gave birth to me."

"Why didn't she tell me about you?" Your teeth sunk into your bottom lip as you stared up at her, "Why didn't he say anything about you?"

"Because (D/n) took me away from her, told her I didn't make it through birth. I was given to Hera, and was raised by her, but (D/n) told me the truth once I reached the age of eighteen," Kazuko shook her head, "There's so much to tell you (Y/n), but I know Kuroo is coming for you. So I can't tell it all. Just know, you're my little sister and I'll protect you no matter what happens."

"How do you know about him?"

"I've seen you with him around town," Kazuko said softly, "I would be out shopping with Hera, and I would just see you walking with him. He cares about you (Y/n), you're getting what you deserve most."

Suna shoved his hands into the tuxedo pockets, "I'm going to get a drink and return when the two of you are finished with all this sappy shit. Oh, and you might want to start dancing. Hera looks like she's ready to come over here."

"Suna! Take (Y/n)," Kazuko told him, placing a hand on your back, shoving your forwards, "Dance with her, do something with her! Just don't let Ace take her. I'm worried about what he'll do to her."

"He's not even here-"

"(Y/n), I see your wounds are clearing up." Ace interrupted, licking his bottom lip as he stared at you.

Suna let out a grumble and grabbed your hand, "(Y/n), would you like to dance with me?"

You squeezed his hand, silently thanking him, "I would love too, Suna."

Kazuko bowed her head as she stood in front of Ace. "Your majesty," He spoke with a huff, bowing his head as well.

"I expect you to be on your best behavior Ace," Kazuko raised her head, holding it high as her voice held authority, "Mother and Father are watching closely as well."

"I understand," Ace rolled his eyes, "Does that mean I should mingle as well?"

"Not with me," Kazuko said before walking away from him, finding someone else to talk to.

You danced with Suna, his eyes still flickering up to (D/n) and Hera.

"Suna," You said, watching his narrowed eyes, "Why do you keep looking up at them?"

"I'm on guard," He mumbled, looking back down at you, "I'm worried about that they may find out about me, or even try to do something to you."

"Did you get any information?" You asked curiously but quietly. One hand rested on his shoulder, the other in his. His hand rested on your waist, unconsciously moving his thumb up and down.
