Maria's P.O.V.
As I walked through the door of Starks hospital room, I saw Loki and I felt my blood boil. “You what are you doing here?” I asked him aiming my gun at him.
“If you want to kill me take a number.” He said without even looking at me. I put my finger on the trigger. Apparently he heard me because he laughed. Then he looked at me and started to walk towards me. “Don’t come any closer.” I said he was freaking me out! Until he grabbed the top of the gun and pushed it to the ground. “That’s easier isn’t it” he said it and then he turned around and leaned against the wall. “What are you doing here?” I asked him holstering my gun. “I have reasons” he said again without looking at me which really irritates me. “Loki just tell her or I will.” Stark said giving him a look. He didn’t say anything so Stark said, “He’s going to die.” I looked at Loki and he seemed so distant after that. “Isn’t that almost a good thing.” I said Loki still didn’t look at me. “I mean how many people did you and your Chitauri kill?” that got him to look at me and with that look I felt so bad about saying it. “How many people have you killed Agent Hill?” he said keeping a calm voice. His question shocked me a little. “I killed for the greater good you murdered innocent people in cold blood.” My answer seemed to get him angry. “Who are you to decide if you are better than me?” I had no answer to his question. “Anyway.” Carol said jumping in. “How do we stop them?” she looked at all of us. It almost amused me. “We’re going to help him?” I said almost laughing they had to be joking, “Why would we help him?” I looked around at their serious faces. “It’s all of our problems now.” Tony said sitting up farther. “What’s that supposed to mean.” I asked. “You’ll figure it out if you’re so much better than me.” Loki said pushing past me and walking out the door. We all just stood there in silence for a while no one really knew what to say after that until Thor spoke up. “If it is Thanos then we will need Loki.” I groaned that meant I had to one thing that I usually wouldn’t do, apologize. “I’ll find him I guess.” I said almost hoping someone would stop me, no one did so I left. I knew finding Loki would be a hard thing to do so I just started walking. Most of New York was still under construction so maneuvering would be difficult. As I looked around I didn’t see him but who had ever said he would be in New York, he could be anywhere, literally! After about an hour I decided to return to the hospital. Knowing the boys I was in for an earful. “Well… where is he!” stark said impatiently. He sounded just like Fury. “I don’t know Stark.” I sat down rubbing my forehead. I did not want to deal with this right now I already had so much more important crap going on. “Any ideas Thor?” Stark asked looking at him. “No, Loki has changed much since I actually knew him. I honestly don’t know what has happened to his mind.” He looked solemn and like he was in a deep thought. I was starting to get kinda angry. “I don’t see what the big deal is! So what he left why was he even here in the first place?” like I said I was pretty angry. “We haven’t even had a chance to explain it to you yet.” He replied just as angry as I was. “Then please do!” he took a big sigh and said, “He has answers we need and insulting him doesn’t help at all!” I looked around the room slightly shocked. “She does have a point Tony how do you know?” he thought for a minute then said. “I just do.”
