Chapter Twelve- Tony

Tony's P.O.V.

It seemed very awkward between Thor and Loki I was waiting for the girl fight and deciding who to place a bet on when it happened. But the whole Prometheus snafu was still in the back of my mind I silently stood there in thought wondering if there was any way to get rid of him. I missed Pepper she probably had to go clean up the press I wished she was here so I knew no one could hurt her then I realized something. It might be me that hurt her next with this thing inside of me god knows what I could do. “Sir?” JARVIS’s voice snapped me out of my mind. “Yes JARVIS?” I asked. “Agent Cousin is here to see you and the Avengers team.” He barely finished his sentence before the elevator doors opened revealing the short Phil Coulson. Everyone had been surprised to find out he was alive and before you think it I DID NOT cry at his funeral… I died at it. Phil barely stepped out of the elevator before Thor ran over to him and gave him a humongous huge causing Phil to turn a bit purple but also causing him to catch site of Loki. They stared at each other for a few minutes probably waiting to see who would attack first really who would speak first which was Phil. “What is he doing here?” he said it still looking at Loki. “Phil its okay Loki has actually been helping us.” Carol said. “I’ll believe it when I see it,” he said touching his stab wound. Loki just stayed quiet which was probably a good idea.” Fury needs you to do press work clean this off the news.” He said looking back at everyone. “Then Loki has to come.” Carol said quietly Phil’s face remained mainly expressionless but I could tell he was fighting the urge to shoot Loki, but I think we all are. “No absolutely not.” He said firmly. “But Phil Loki was involved in it and as much as I hate saying it he saved me back there.”Steve said looking up at Phil. As I looked over at Phil he seemed surprised I think it might have been because his hero had just gotten his ass saved by a villain and not just any villain THE villain that killed him. “Fine but if he makes a scene I will personally drag him to the gates of hell.” He said it giving a wicked glare to Loki and then turned and left I looked over at Loki who was just standing there shocked. “Well…. He’s in a wonderful mood.” Loki said sarcastically I couldn’t help but crack a smile. “Well slick you did try to kill him.” I said adding my signature smirk I saw Steve roll his eyes. “Better get going.” Steve said reluctantly walking towards the door Carol followed him and he held the door for her it looked like all that romantic guy meets girl movie crap I mean anyone with eyes can see they’re both crushing on each other except for them which was hilarious. I knew I had to go to this stupid thing so I quickly finished my drink and walked to the door but just to be a bit irritating I turned and said, “Loki come!” adding another smirk and turning around I heard a angry sigh and had to use whatever self control I had not to laugh. I heard someone following me and looked behind me… it was Thor. “Loki said he would meet us there if we were lucky.” He said it quietly I just had a feeling this press conference would go wrong somehow someway.
