Hey guys! We All talk about gender equality and such but do we know why we aren't able to change? Do we know why the gender differences exist?
The only reason we aren't able to change is because generation after generation we have been taught the same things no matter if they are right or not.
Girls are given barbie's from birth and hence as they grow up they are known to like such things. But what if we try something different. Can't we give girls cars to play with? Or will that be too 'manly'. It's all about what they have been taught, since they follow the same teachings generation after generation.
Can you imagine what would happen if a young girl who had never played with any toys before, was given the choice to play with either a car or a barbie, what would she choose... We have no way of knowing because it has never been done.
It is just assumed that she likes 'pink sparkly stuff' not that I am saying she can't like this stuff but that is her choice! no one else can decide that for her.
