"Are you okay?" Namjoon stepped inside, looking over at his friend, staring at the ceiling.
"How could I be? This morning I was so happy to get home, to see her, kiss her and tell her that I will never leave her again." Yoongi fought hard against the new tears that were threatening to run down his cheeks.
"I can only imagine how hard it is for you but at least you can still see her, you can still talk to her, make her remember you." The leader tried to console his hyung. "Just know that we are always here for you. All of us are here if you need us."
"Thank you, Joon. I appreciate it." Yoongi turned to his side, not in the mood to talk about it anymore. He fell back asleep at some point only to wake up an hour later to his heart racing as Ryan's emotionless face haunted him even in his dreams. Resigning to the fact that he cannot stay in bed forever and that Ryan would kick his ass if he did, he climbed out of his bed, looking at the boxes that were sitting against the far wall of his room. Will he be able to get through them? Will he find items that belonged to her? Will the pain be too much to bear?
At least, he should take his clothes out to hang them in the closet. So, he opened the first two boxes on the top to take out some of his pants, his underwear, and most of his shirts. Suddenly, the fragrance of her perfume engulfs him and he closed his eyes bringing the piece of clothing in his hands against his face to inhale her scent.
The phone in his pants started to ring. He looked at the caller ID and knew he needed to pick it up.
"Eomma?"
"Yoongi! How are you? Are you back home?"
He was about to answer when he felt overwhelmed by her next questions.
"Is Ryan with you? We have not seen her for over a month now. She must be busy with the preparations for the wedding. We are so excited."
Yoongi's phone slipped out of his hand as he started to cry again, wailing Ryan's name as the hurt in his heart would not stop increasing.
Jimin ran inside as he was passing by the room, watching his friend crumbled on the floor.
"Yoongi!" He shouted alarming Taehyung who was just down the hallway and rushed to them. Jimin kept his hyung in his arms, rocking him like a child, murmuring comforting words in his ear as Tae took the phone to explain to Yoongi's worried mother what had happened.
"The wedding? I had not thought about the wedding!" Yoongi confessed to Jimin, looking up, his face stained with tears.
"It's okay Hyung. It is okay."
Suddenly Jimin has yanked away from Yoongi and Jin stood tall before Yoongi.
"Both of you out!" The oldest exclaimed firmly, "Close the door and let the others know, we do not want to be disturbed."
Jimin nodded as Taehyung dragged him outside, closing the door behind them as requested.Yoongi let his gaze go back to the floor unable to hold Jin's stare.
The oldest strolled over to the chair next to the desk, he did not say a word as he just sat there.
"Say what you want to say, Hyung!" Yoongi declared firmly, his eyes fixed on the floor before him.
"I will! But only when I see that you are ready to hear it, understand it, and let it bring you back. Back to us and back to her."
Now, Yoongi peeked up at his hyung's face. He could see that this whole incident with Ryan had been shaking him up too. His fiancée and Jin had been pretty close before they all went to the military and Ryan had told Yoongi that she had visited his hyung on a few occasions.
