Chapter 5

It had been 8 years since UA had been created. Izuku occasionally visited Nezu and often helped with paperwork so that Izuku and Nezu could spend time together. After all this time, the chimera still din like many humans, but had learnt to appreciate and like a few of the students and staff. Izuku was of course right at number 1 for humans or individuals in general that the chimera absolutely loved. Izuku helped with many of his problems and helped him go through the pain of nightmares. Izuku and Nezu still lived together, but Izuku had gone back to spending time in different countries and in the wilderness interacting with nature. Nezu also spent more time at his office in UA.

Nezu was currently sitting in a meeting with the other staff discussing the new applicants for the hero classes. The entrance exams were starting in 5 days and they needed to discuss how to continue onward with the exam and which students would have the most potential. While the staff was going through a heated discussion about who and what intentions they had suited hero classes most, Nezu was contemplating something. He had learnt about the true history over the past few years with Izuku since knew everything from past to present. That includes All for One and One for All. That is the reason for his predicament right now. One student had One for All passed on. This student named Toshinori Yagi was believed to be quirkless until the age of 14 where he miraculously gained a quirk. Under the excuse that the quirk had to fit into a proper vessel before it could manifest itself. It was also a factor to consider that at age 12, Toshinori Yagi had thrown a bike at a criminal where he saved enough time for the hero to defeat and arrest the criminal. This hero was none other than Nana Shimura. The 7th holder of One for All. Through various sources Nezu had also found out that Nana had been training Toshinori Yagi along with her hero partner Sorahiko Torino (aka Gran Torino).

This was something that he needed to discuss with Izuku. So while the staff was (still) arguing, Nezu made a call to Izuku. "Helllo?" He heard through the line. The staff had stopped arguing the second Nezu started talking. "Hello Izuku!" The only one of the staff that knew of Izuku was the oldest teacher that still worked here. Yamanashi Kyoushi, hero name: Fade. He had met Izuku during his introduction 8 years ago, and still talked whenever Izuku visited. Everyone besides him and nezu was baffled at the reply that could be heard through the phone. "Ah, little Nezu! How are you? Doing good? What's it been, like 9 months? What can I do for my little fluffy chimera?" Izuku had gone to the savanna in africa 9 months ago and had yet to come back because he had been enjoying his time with the wild animals. So Izuku was really happy that Nezu called. Nezu was also happy to hear the voice of the person he thought of as family and as a father again after so long. (Though it couldn't compare to how long Izuku had been alive).

Now for the teachers and staff besides Kyoushi, they were incredibly confused and terrified that their boss, the individual that made their lives hell if wrong paths were crossed, was being called 'little Nezu' or 'my fluffy chimera'. They wondered if this was an even older and scarier version of Nezu. And that thought terrified them. "Yes I'm good, life has been very lonely and boring since you left though. Anyways, this is regarding my school and the students. One of the students has legend and I was wondering if you could help with deciding the classes and where students would go." Legend was the code for One for All that nezu and Izuku had decided upon, so when nezu said that one of the students had legend, it meant that they had One for All. Though this confused the staff since they didn't understand what he meant with that statement.

"Nezu" Izuku said in a demanding voice that even had Nezu gulp. "Don't beat around the bush. What do you want me to do at UA?" Izuku asked right away. It always amazed Nezu how Izuku could easily tell something like that, even through the phone. The chimera thought he was on the side where people had a harder time picking at his poker face and Facade. But Izuku could do it through the phone, only in a few seconds, without the need of looking at his face. Nezu sighed. "Ok ok sorry, So I was wondering if you could come and observe the entrance exams with me and the other teachers. While also maybe agreeing to teach the heroics classes? And maybe the support and management courses too?" Nezu had muttered that last part quietly but it could still be heard through both the phone and in the quiet meeting room. He heard a sigh through the line before the other line spoke again. "Okay, when do I need to be there? Nezu smiled brightly when he heard his reply. Though this terrified the staff (except Kyoushi) since their boss never smiles as brightly like that, even when he has and plans sadistic ideas. "Please come now, since you're going to be coming anyway might as well come a bit early and spend time with me!" Nezu said happily. He heard some shifting on the other side, probably trying to get out from under a lion or maybe even an elephant. "Alright, be there in a few" he said before the phone cut off.

Not even 7 second later Izuku shows up in all his glory right in the middle of the room in a glowing golden light with his eyes closed. The second he opens his eyes the light recedes into his body and his eyes glimmer brightly for a second before returning to their natural emerald shine. He eyes the staff and smiles when his eyes lock with Kyoushi's for a second. Izuku connects his eyes to the chimera when he hears his name being called. "Izuku! It's been so long! I've missed you!" Nezu exclaimes when he is returned with one of his favorite soft smiles. "Indeed it has Nezu. I've missed you too" Izuku says softly while picking up Nezu. He sits in Nezu's previous chain with the mentioned sitting happily on his lap. Without realising what kind of chaos is going through the heads of the staff. The chimera that hates human touch is sitting on the lap of someone that doesn't look any older than 18 that he seems to adore. 'This person is god!' is the thought going through their minds. Not realising how almost accurate that is. "So shall we continue with this meeting now that i'm here or do you have everything already settled?" Izuku asks as he looks around the room once more before reading the papers and files that are sitting on the desk in front of him. Nezu speaks up for the staff. "I think we have pretty much everything under control, the only thing you'll have to be there for is the actual exam." Nezu says thinking about the information provided and spoke about during the meeting. "Well alright then, the meeting is dismissed." Izuku states as he walks around the table out the door still with nezu on his hip. Leaving behind a baffled staff. Kyoushi just follows the 2 out.

Izuku spends the rest of the day catching up with both Nezu and Kyoushi while they learn about what he had been doing in Africa for 9 months. Time went by fast and now it is the morning of the entrance exams. Izuku sits in the front chair one again with Nezu on his lap while looking at the 20 or so screens of the exam. With the other teachers that aren't supervising or announcing the exam behind also in the room. Izuku is ready to criticize and judge how good these students are and how good they will become.
