(A/N - Hii! It's been a while. I know it's been a while but honestly I'm really stressed right now. Today I'm sure of one thing. It's that these chapters are really going to be varying from now on. I don't know when I'll be updating any chapters. From Now on, my school life is getting really stressful. I'm working hard this year so that I can move to a different school next year. The same school my brother transferred to last year. Apparently he's really happy, and the learning is going much more smoothly there than it was going here.I want to go to the same school, so I have to work hard to achieve passable high scores. Thus studying a lot. Especially with the Mock exams in Jan and the final exams in May. I really can't be posting every 3-4 weeks.
I will be posting if I have ever written anything during any free time that I have, but please do not count on that.
Anyways... Here's the next chapter! ;))
They ended up having to move Chiyo into a spare bed that was beside the room that Toshinori was residing in. While Chiyo was sleeping, Nighteye, Nezu and Gran Torino were standing behind Izuku as he was checking and writing down statistics on a clipboard, to add into the medical server. He was looking over all the equipment to make sure it was all connected and working properly.
Gran Torino decided to speak up. "So how is he? Is he going to survive? Will he still be able to continue living a normal life along with hero work?" Nighteye was itching to ask those same questions, but to be asking a supposedly teenager was putting him off.
"Well he certainly is doing a lot better than when I came into the OR. He will live and hopefully be fully recovered in 2 months or so. This was a huge injury. And the risks of letting him get back into work too soon will do bad on his health. For the following 2 months, you will need to let the other pro heroes know that All Might will be out of commission for a while. Without All Might, Villains will rise again because they think it's safer now that he's out of the picture." Izuku was writing Toshinori's state on the clipboard while explaining the situation.
"Wait! But we can't just have Toshinori be in hiding for the next 2 months. The media will take any events to turn them into rumors and fake news. And how are we not so sure that what you're saying is wrong. I mean. You've got to be 16 or 17 right. How can we trust you?"
What Nighteye was saying wasn't strange if Izuku had been any other doctor. But Nezu and Torino knew that Izuku knew what's best for Toshinori. Izuku finally looked up from his clipboard, but instead of a childlike ignorance, he came face to face with full authority and seriousness in those emerald eyes. Nighteye's eyes widened a bit but quickly went back to normal. Izuku decided now was the time to explain his reasoning.
"We can, and we will Nighteye. Toshinori's condition needs to be hidden for his own safety and for the safety of the citizens. The media will make fake news out of anything and nothing, but they won't if we give them a story. And Nighteye, I wouldn't even be here if I wasn't trustworthy enough. I know everything about Toshinori so I have a right to be here. Plus if I'm not mistaken, It was said 16 year old looking boy, who just went through a fatal life threatening surgery and managed to get Toshinori to stabilize." Izuku said while inwardly putting finger quotes of the '16 year old looking boy'.
Izuku looked sternly at Nighteye, inwardly cringing at having to call himself a 16 year old looking boy. Nighteye looked at Izuku but backed off because he knew that he was right. He decided to leave and wait to visit tomorrow when visiting times are open.
Izuku, Nezu and Gran Torino all watched as he walked away, before turning back towards each other. Nezu spoke first. "So do you think that All for One is really dead? Because there wasn't anybody to be found when we were cleaning up with the relief force." Izuku looked back at the 2 before looking through the glass window where you could see Toshinori's lying form.
