Chapter 24

A week later, we were all once again in the Bakugo household. Reason? Because the kids got the letters back. Now we were all staring anxiously at the letters with nobody making a move to open them. I already took a 'look' at the results and I know they both passed, so I'm just getting more and more bored. Finally done with all this waiting bullshit, I grabbed both letters but opened Minoru's first. Minoru of course let out a squeak and tried to take it back. Katsuki did too, but I restrained both of them with white aura chains to the couch, but they were loose enough to not be uncomfortable or painful.

With Minoru's letter opened, a circular disk fell out and rolled on the coffee table. I clicked on a clear 'PRESS ME' button and a hologram came out. Guess who showed up? All Might! Or as I know him, little Toshi. But as I never told them I knew Toshinori, everybody else was surprised to see the number one hero on the hologram.

"AHA! HELLO YOUNG MINETA! I AM HERE! WHY AM I HERE? BECAUSE I WILL BE UA'S NEWEST FACULTY MEMBER. NOW YOUR ENTRANCE EXAM. YOU DID WONDERFULLY ON YOUR WRITTEN TEST, A SOLIF 82% WHICH IS NO DOUBLE A FITTING SCORE TO ENTER. BUT UNFORTUNATELY YOU HAVE ONLY OBTAINED 28 VILLAIN POINTS IN THE PRACTICAL EXAM." Minoru's excitement from meeting-or well seeing a holographic version- of All Might died down when his score got mentioned. He had told me that he didn't think he got enough, but really confirming it was different. Of course I knew of the further circumstances with the exam, as I thoroughly examined the proposal that the HPSC had submitted about this bogus test.

"BUT WHO ARE WE TO DENY THE PURE HEROISM IN YOU? YOU YOUNG MINETA HAVE OBTAINED 23 HERO POINTS FOR YOU ACTS OF HEROISM IN KEEPING YOUR FELLOW CONTESTANTS SAFE. MINORU MINETA, YOU HAVE 51 POINTS, WELCOME YOU YOUR HERO ACADEMIA!" The hologram cut off and we were in silence for no more than 5 seconds when we broke into cheers for Minoru. Minoru himself cried in relief while hugging his mom. Katsuki looked a bit relieved to know Minoru passed. He doesn't want to admit it, but the 2 of them are good friends and he would be lonely to not have him in school, even if it might not be in the same classroom.

I took out the information letter from the envelope and gave it to the Mineta's. It had the details of his classroom, a map of the school and some papers regarding his hero suite that he will design and need to be sent in in 2 weeks.

Now it was Katsuki's turn to open his letter, but unlike before, he took it himself and opened it. He took out the same disk and copied my actions of pressing the big 'PRESS ME' button, and once again a hologram of All Might showed up. Katsuki leaned in on it when All Might finally started talking.

"AHA! HELLO YOUNG BAKUGO! I AM HERE! WHY AM I HERE? BECAUSE I WILL BE UA'S NEWEST FACULTY MEMBER. NOW YOUR ENTRANCE EXAM." he started off the exact same as he did in Minoru's previous hologram video. If he needs to repeat this hundreds of times to all the new students, you have my pity Toshi.

"YOUNG BAKUGO, YOU HAVE ACHIEVED AN INCREDIBLY HIGH SCORE ON YOUR WRITTEN TEST! BUT NOT ONLY IN YOUR WRITTEN. IN YOUR PRACTICAL EXAM YOU HAVE ALSO PERFORMED INCREDIBLY! YOU HAVE OBTAINED A TOTAL OF 79 VILLAIN POINTS, BUT THAT IS NOT ALL! WE ARE A HERO SCHOOL, WHO WOULD WE BE IF WE DON'T EVEN GIVE CREDIT FOR WHERE IT'S DUE! YOUNG BAKUGO, YOU HAVE 19 HERO POINTS FOR EVERY ROBOT YOU DESTROYED WHO COULD HAVE HURT ANOTHER STUDENT! WITH A FINAL POINT OF 98 AND IN FIRST PLACE FOR THE 1ST YEAR ENTRANCE EXAM, YOU YOUNG KATSUKI BAKUGO HAVE PASSED! WELCOME TO YOUR HERO ACADEMIA!"

Again we were all surprised before we all jumped up and body smashed the grinning boy. Everybody toppled over and it became a dog pile of bodies on the living room floor. Katsuki's screaming became a white noise within all the laughing, cheering and shouting, courtesy of Mitsuki.

"I'm so proud of you Tsuki." I said and gave Katsuki a smile once everything had calmed down a bit. Katsuki looked at me before he too smiled at me, though it was only a small one, it was still a smile. "Thanks Izuku. I couldn't have done it without you." There was silence for a second before I just had to say what was on the tip of my tongue.

"Am I not angel fairy anymore?" I pouted while asking him. His face blew up in flames with smoke coming out of his ears before he chucked multiple pillows at me while screaming. "SHUT UP, DID YOU HAVE TO RUIN THE MOMENT!!" His embarrassed face is adorable.

"HAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHA" I doubled over while laughing so hard my stomach started to hurt. The others who heard the commotion also started laughing along until it was only Katsuki sitting there with an embarrassed pout, though you could see the smile in his eyes.

For the rest of the day we celebrated the boy's (and mine, but I wasn't as important) entrance to UA with cake, soda and game night ('day' really because it went on from noon until night) that we had prepared as a result of the letters, whether they were good or bad.

It was the first day of school. I was going to arrive separately from the boys as I still had to talk to Nezu before going to my class. We also still needed to surprise the kids because seeing Shouta, Hizashi, and Nemuri's gobsmacked faces would be absolute gold.

Now here I stand right in front of the huge class 1-A door, already hearing all the ruckus inside. Is that Katsuki screaming? Ehh, that's normal for him. I opened the door and see that almost the whole class was here. And looks like I was right, there he is, Katsuki screaming at a blue haired glasses wearing kid while he loudly yells back to 'take his feet off the desk as it is 'disrespectful' to basically everyone that one desk had been touched, designed and more' blah blah blah.

Minoru I see is also here already and he's conversing with a couple of 'emo' looking kids in the corner. I walk to my assigned seat that I saw on the board, which is conveniently right in between both my boys. I notice that I still haven't been noticed my many except by that dual colour haired kid and the girl with earphone jacks. When I'm close I finally talk, gaining the attention to me, a new arrival. "Katsuki, sit like a normal person, not like some slob with no respect for school, even if spectacles is overdoing it." And apparently being seen as some kind of beast tamer because Katsuki does what I say and actually sat normally and stopped arguing with spectacles to look at me.

"Hey, you're almost late" I put my bag down on my table before taking a seat and talking with a suddenly calm Katsuki. "Yeah well, I needed to talk about something with someone, no worries though, I'm here now." I reply before suddenly spectacles enters my field of vision with a straight arm and stiff body. "Ah hello! My name is Tenya Iida! It's a pleasure to be peers with you from now on! I hope we will get along well!" Wow, this dude's very... what's the word... ehh, I'll figure it out sometime later. "Yeah, nice to meet you too, I'm Izuku Midoriya, I hope we can be friends."

That was a normal introduction to someone 'your age' right? Ahh I'm stressing now. Whatever, I'll just go with the flow. Now every student was in. I could count an equal amount of kids and chairs in here. Just as I was about to talk to Minoru who came up behind me to finally talk, I noticed a yellow caterpillar, AKA, our homeroom teacher, and my own little student who had come so far. 'Sniff' you grew up so well. I sobbed in my head, sad for the cute little student that was always flustered when he did something wrong, or he didn't know how to do something.

"If you're here to make friends, go home." Everyone froze and turned to the open door where he was, lying on his side in that atrocious thing with a haggard appearance. ('Seriously I got him that thing years ago, how old is it now? Has it ever been washed?)' He opened up the zipper a bit and started drinking a jelly packet. "It took you 8 seconds to quiet down, do better next time." He unzipped fully and stepped out, standing up. He walked to the front of the class before turning to face us, and now he finally saw me.

His eyes widened noticeably, though apparently not for the other students, and he paused. Meanwhile I just smiled and gave him a tiny wave with a closed eye smile. This is so fun, messing with him. He resumed again and cleared his throat by coughing into his hand. He took out a stack of PE uniforms out of his sleeping bag and put it in front of him on the desk. "Good, now everybody grab one and head out to the changing rooms. Meet me out at the field in 5 minutes. Don't be late." before he left and left us to our devices.

I stood up and took one then walked out to the boys changing room. I was going to change faster because this is the prime opportunity to talk with Shouta a bit before the rest of the kids come. His reaction is going to be hilarious! Hah!
