Callisto's heart leapt her into consciousness, her body shot up as her head flung from side to side. Her senses heightened, desperate to try to take in where she was. The bottom of the bed above her, seemed closer than usual. Her neck bent over slightly as she straightened her back fully, her bones were aching and her muscles felt weak. Inhaling deeply, the air in her lungs seemed to be more than usual. Callisto's pulse slowed and she looked around again, she was in the cabin.

Sighing in relief, she was safe. It was a dream, a bad dream.

A dream that seemed real.

"I'm losing it." Callisto whispered as she ran a hand down her face.

She could remember their faces, their clothes, their voices. That place. It couldn't have been a dream.

As she lowered her hands she noticed her hands, covered in dried mud, her nails filled with dirt. She swallowed hard. Dirt didn't mean she was there, she could have just walked outside.

It couldn't have been real. She refused to believe it.

The confusion in her head slowly pushed her backwards until she sat in the passenger side of her own mind yet again.

"What the hell are you doing!?" Xenia screamed as she walked into the bathrooms. Callisto's back was to her as she stood in the shower, fully clothed as the water ran down her back and soaked her body.

Xenia rushed forward and clamped her hand against Callisto's shoulder. Yanking her backwards she stared at the person in front of her. Callisto was taller than before, she had more lean muscle and looked slightly stronger than before.

Callisto didn't say a word, yet the shell of her body looked over Xenia with calculating eyes, just like the night they played cops and robbers. The air was much cooler than it should have been like the hot water, splashing against her shoulders couldnt help with the cold.

Xenia's breath hitched as she looked around the bathrooms, from where the ceiling met the walls on all four sides began to pour a black smoke. It rushed towards Callisto's body as it slowly began to block out the light in the rest of the small bathroom. With shaking hands, Xenia reached past Callisto and turned the scalding water to ice.

Callisto gasped as the iced water hit the back of her neck and she recoiled, nearly knocking into Xenia who stumbled back in fear. Callisto's head spun from side to side, trying to comprehend where she was. Before she noticed the look in Xenia's face and turned to stare at her with confused eyes, yet all she could see was the fear that stared at her, the reflection of herself in Xenia's eyes.

'Was she scared of me?' Callisto tilted her head to look at Xenia

'Why did she look so scared?' Callisto asked herself as she tried to take a step forward, the ice cold water registering against her skin, her clothes were freezing, wet and heavy. But that didn't concern her as much as Xenia.

"What's wrong?" Callisto demanded of her friend who was still petrified at the sight of her.

"Cal- callisto?" Xenia asked, her voice still shaking as she paused a distance away from Callisto who was still shocked at the fact, her best friend. The closest person to her was farther than ever.

"I'm here, I'm here. What's wrong?" Callisto asked, taking a step forward, as the black smoke from before appeared around her shoulders.

"Stay back. Don't come any closer." Xenia shouted as she sprinted out the bathrooms leaving Callisto feeling very much alone.

Hours passed as Callisto tried to catch Xenia, yet she managed to avoid her each time. She sat with Zoya at breakfast, did the first round of activities with her and spectacularly avoided her at lunch when she sat with AJ and Max.

And with each avoided event Callisto's levels of irritation and anger grew higher and higher. She couldn't believe this, she didn't know what was wrong. What she had done, but she was willing to do anything to fix it.

And when the afternoon activity came, Callisto was fuming. Her frustration was maximized and she had no clue what she had done wrong. The only thing that had calmed her down relatively, was the classical music playing in her ears, every free second she got to listen to it.

"Alright everyone! Archery. The ancient form of hunting, hunters used bows and arrows to take out larger prey over a large distance. This gave them what?" Willem asked as he paced in front of the large group of 17 year olds.

"An advantage in hunting larger animals and keeping their numbers safer." Callisto's voice spoke before she could even register the thought.

"Exactly. Where did you learn that?" Willem asked as he looked impressed.

"Not sure." She shrugged unsure of where the information was stored in her brain.

"Well alright. Since you got the question correct. You get to make the first shot."
