I stepped off the plane to be met with Pierce and a man with long brown hair and a metal arm. He gave me a small smile when his eyes landed on me. Pierce seemed like he had won the lottery. He was dressed in a smarter black suit, he walked over to me and shook my hand, which was now a lot firmer. Maybe a little too much as I saw him wince and rub his hands together after I let go which made the metal armed man smile a little wider. He stepped forward level with Peirce now his, eyes kind and peaceful as he looked over me.

"Thomas. This is James Buchanan Barns, you're new farther the man on your birth certificate. We trust that he will take care of you and help you with your abilities. We have a jet ready to take you to Russia. We will call if you are needed." Pierce introduced us, and lead us over to a small plane just big enough for us, I didn't know what to say or what to call him.

As we sat down there was high thick tension between us. I started to fiddle with my finger and stare out the window, watching as the plane took off. James didn't say much, he hardly moved until we were stable in the air which he then stood took something from his back and sat opposite me.

"Thomas? Is it okay if we get to know each other a little?" He said as he sat in the chair, I flicked my eyes to his. Turning a little to face him I noticed something in his hand.

"Sure Mr Barns" I turned completely. Now noticing he had a book in his hand.

"I would feel more comfortable if you call me Bucky." I nodded, and he looked down in his hands. "I was told a little about you. Agent Rumlow had told me that he took you away from your old town in Texas because you were abused and had no one to turn to. He told me that you liked to read, that your favourite was Robin Hood? I managed to get you an original, he had said that you had lost your last one when he picked you up last week." He handed me the hard backed book that was in his hands, I had let out a small breath I didn't realise I had been holding. As I took it from him looking over the rough edges of the book.

"Thank you, Bucky. You didn't have to, I always wished for a new start and that is what I have now. It's okay if you don't want to answer but how did you... Lose your arm?" I mumbled the last part

"I umm... I don't remember, Hydra has messed with my memories a little, so I don't know too much about my past before Hydra and some of them are a little blurred. So they have given us enough money to get by for a few years, and have also set up a remote house for us. If that's okay with you?" He explained

"Yeah that's great actually, I'm not a massive people person. Some of the Agents told me that you could help train me... If that's okay with you?"

"Oh yeah, of course, I'll teach you how to fight and defend yourself. We can go for runs every morning too if you like? Don't know if you be able to keep up tho kiddo" he laughed

"Well I now have a lot more speed strength and agility than ever before so... Maybe I will. I'll just have to race you." I laughed with him, it was nice having someone I felt safe around from the first time that we had met.

"So why Robin Hood?"

"I don't know it was one of the first books I had ever been given, it was the idea that a man had come from nothing and became a hero, saving and looking after his village. The idea of helping others out of their struggles helped me through mine. Hoping and dreamed that one day I would have someone help me out of mine so I could do the same for others. I know it sounds childish but growing up in Texas wasn't easy but I'm glad I met you."

"Thomas you don't have to worry anymore, I will protect you and take care of you. I can teach you Rusian too, along with all the things you need to survive. I will help you to become the Robin Hood you wish to be. Why don't you get some rest, I'll wake you when we get to Russia."
