"Marry me"

I froze as she stood in silence no words left her mouth and I think everyone around us heard me ask... Coming back from the dead has the effect of drawing a crowd.

I felt my hands start to get clammy and my back started to sweat, I have screwed everything up, as she pulls away from me my heart sinks and I want to drown myself in the water. Seconds after her hands fall away from me she tackles me to the ground.

"I'm so mad at you but yes, god yes I'll marry your stupid ass." She kisses me once more as she now lays on top of my hands on her waist securing her.

"You are dead." I hear a thick Sokovian accent from behind Natasha and I think both our eyes go wide. "Thomas Barnes I would run." She informs me as Natasha moves from my side I stand up to be met with a puffy-faced angry witch.

I do the opposite and run towards her which takes her a few seconds to register. "God I missed you sister even if you are mad at me." I lift her off the ground making her squeal and smack me before hugging me back.

"You are so stupid! What were you thinking?" She tried to be mad at me but I could hear the sobs in her voice as her tears soaked through my top.

We both broke apart when there was a cough behind her and I looked up to see Bucky and Steve stood there in shock. I smiled at the pair of them still stood hand in hand. I knew it.

"Hi dad, papa," I said to them both and they didn't move they didn't say anything and I wasn't sure what to do until Wanda shoved me forwards into them. They immediately squished me in the biggest bear hug imaginable.

"Don't scare us again like that." Was the only thing I could hear clearly through they are muffled into my skin.

"Yelena?!" I call out as I looked around and couldn't see her and she popped out from nowhere.

"Tom?!" I hear multiple people shout... oops...

"Who are the two stood in the woods you came with?"

"Oh, you mean Melina and Alexei?" My eyes go wide and I sprint off towards them and ignore the other parts of my family shouting and me as Yelena and I think Natasha race after me Pietro is now next to me asking me what and where I'm going at what looks like a standard walk for him.

I come to a standstill just in front of them both Melina hand on Gun and Alexei with his arms out ready to fight.

"Um... Hi, I'm Thomas Barnes. Natasha's..."

"Boyfriend." Melina finished for me very bluntly not removing her hand from the weapon.

"Right Umm I wanted to ask you for your blessings to marry her?" It's safe to say they weren't expecting that as they looked at each other confused.

"Brother what are you doing?" Pietro asked as Wanda landed down next to us, her eyes glowing red seeing the pairs threading stances.

"I took care of her for the last 5 years I will do it until her final days, and love even after that," I explained just as Natasha and Yelena made it beside the twins and Nat latched onto my arm.

"Does he make you happy Natasha?" her mother asked and she was taken back by the statement but looked at me and smiled and nodded.

"I'm warmed up ready for a fight now," Alexei complained and Yelena rolled her eyes trodding off back toward the main group wanting some alcohol.

"Yes Thomas you do but you hurt her we will not hesitate to track you down and give you a slow and painful death," Melina told me and I swallowed thickly, god and I thought Wanda and Nat were scary.
