I sat down on the floor playing with my fingers impatiently waiting to know wat was going to happen to me and Clarrisa. The room was just filled with tension none of us had said a word since we got arrested . Until Clarrisa broke the silence and started laughing hysterically

Clarrisa. You ofcourse
Me. Huh
Clarrisa. I can't believe you trusted a white guy !
Me. Well what did you expect me to do . I was in shock okey..... . I couldn't believe u out of all people could steal l mean ...........would it kill you to be a un rebellious for one minute

I lost my temper and pinned her to the wall holding her by the collar of her dress

She said those words so calmly and slowly. I looked into her eyes filled with anger and hate l let go of her and sat on the floor

Me. Violence won't solve anything

She sat down next to me and smiled

Policewoman. Apparently the young man here came and with drew his charges
Clarrisa. Oh really ( rolling her eyes) l wonder why

Policewoman.( Unlocking cell) the young man says he's waiting for you guys outside the parking lot

We were let out if the cell and walked outside and saw Francis standing infront of his car he looked worried or scared either the two the moment he saw us his eyes lit up
Francis. Ohhh Kathy l was worried sick about u
Clarrisa. Ofcourse you where
Me. Just open the car s - i - r

He opened the car and we got in
Francis . Thought u would be a little grateful that l let u out
Me. Grateful really or wow u put as in jail just to let us out ohhhh.....why coz Soo much unecessary drama
Francis . I put you in jail so that l can get enough time to get this diamond

He start the car and we went off . We were going to drive Clarrisa back to the farm. The drive was Soo quiet l broke the silence

I said that in a desperate tone

I just dozed off a bit and l woke up to find ourselves at............ Francis's house l looked around and l was all alone in the car no sign of Clarrisa or Francis anywhere. So l just walked outside until l saw Francis standing at the main door entrance
Me. Wat am l doing here l.l.l ouch( l felt my head ache)

Me. I need to ( l started feeling dizzy  everything was moving around in circles almost fell but Francis caught me just in time

I was trembling and began stuttering.

He made the sir gently on a stool nearby . And left , by the time he left l saw an old woman coming to me it was my mother
Me. Mom how did u
Mom. Kathy l missed you soo much
Me.me too mommy l can't wait for us to catch up on a lot of things
Mom. I don't have enough time to stay so lll be quick

Mom. I will never leave you okey  lm right here in ur heart and at the mental centre (both of us giggling) l missed u ur laugh ur face everything

"Kathy" l turned back and saw Francis holding a glass of water , a blanket and a pill
