We both walked along the tunnel that was going to bring us home, the trip was silent and the only one talking was David and the other 7 youths  who where Kendall , Fiona , Thomas, Randall , Gabrielle , Heather and Mitchell . These were all close friends with David . They talked here and there and Thomas made some dum jokes which made him get insulted by David . The other girls and boys were talking about freedom and rewards they would get after they win the battle
Fiona. Yeah l want to eat all those special white food , that's what l really want
Mitchell. I just want to sleep in one of those cozy beds ( she had a huge  smile on her face)
Thomas. Eh David wat would u like
David . The peace l get knowing that justice is bought is enough

Everyone looked at him in shock except me l knew he would say that the guy is basically one of the most honest and sincere guy l have ever met
Thomas. I was going to say that

The others scolded him

The silence was back again l looked at Francis and Clarrisa who seemed to be lost in their thoughts. But just ignored them the truth would surely come out soon

We reached the end of the tunnel. I felt a sharp tingling pain as the first rays of the sunshine met my eyes . I tried to cover my eyes with my elbow
People started groaning in pain as they saw the light
David. Don't worry guys the pain won't last for long just some minutes
Clarrisa. Why aren't you feeling the pain
David. I don't know l guess no pain no gain am l right

No one answered him everyone was looking for a shady tree to go under and rest, and soon we all sat down
David , come on guys , we can't stop now , people are counting on us
I opened l looked at him wondering how this guy has the body of a robot.

Me. Please give us only 10minutes ( in a sweet baby voice)
David. Well ......okey

Said that without hesitation

Thomas. (Clearing throat)I sense favouritism
David. Shut up Thomas
Thomas. ( Sighed annoyingly)Yes sir

Everyone started giggling including David too

My eyes got better soon .I looked around and l couldnt see Francis or Clarrisa then l spotted  them from a far distance holding a paper they had not been holding that paper since l came though
I decided to sneak behind them since everyone was sleeping except for David who was no where to be seen as well

I got nearby and noticed a paper on the tree ,they was a paper on every tree
I looked at it and it read *wanted murders* and it had a picture of Francis and Clarrisa . I took the paper and went to them
Me. What did you guys do

Silence

Me. talk now!

They kept looking at each other signalling for one of them to come clean
Clarrisa. It was a mistake okey
Francis. Look Kathy l can explain
Me . Please do now !

My voice was now stern and straight forward l was tired of going around in circles l just wanted to here their story for once and for all

Francis . (Deep sigh) here it goes

Francis's story
*So after l got the diamond , l felt very guilty for what l had done then l gave her back and then l needed to secure that l wouldn't get killed Soo we decided to come up with a plan that we would kill them before they could kill us Soo l called Mr Salman and convinced him to come to the woods and fetch the diamond  and he did*
Me. (Deep sigh) then
Clarrisa.

*Wen he was about to retrieve the stolen diamond we stabbed him and his girlfriend with a knife and we left them there to die and bathed in a nearby pond*
Me. What noo
Clarrisa. Look Kathy lm not proud of what l did but please don't report me
Francis . Please lets keep this between us three

They pleaded Soo hard

Me. I thought l knew you guys . I grew up with the two of you and you two could never hurt a flie l know that you're not murderers your not you wouldn't be this selfish you wouldn't right
Francis.kathy look
Me. Tell me this is some sort of prank
Me eyes were now teary
Francis. I wish l could
"But you can't " l looked back and found David staring at us with a smirk on his face
Francis. Wat do u want
David. Justice  you didn't come here to help us you are hiding from the police.
Clarrisa. David......
David. Now give me one good reason why l shouldnt rat you out or better yet kill u
He put his hand on Francis s collor the tips of their nose touching each other
