The next day of school, I brought my phone, ready to snap a picture every time I caught Jaymz doing something embarrassing. I packed up my books and folders in my bookbag and hurried to the bus stop after eating a Slim Jim for breakfast. Boy, was I excited to catch this guy red-handed!
I met my best friend, Riley, in the vacant school library. Even though he's my best friend, I still haven't told him about my crush or the mission I was on to ruin Jaymz's reputation. I casually greeted him and walked away without saying another word, which was quite odd, since I usually talk with him until classes start.
I was at my locker, reading an epic vocabulary book during lunch time when I noticed Jaymz. He was sneakily sneaking into the girls' bathroom. I threw my vocabulary book in my locker with shocking enthusiasm. I took out my phone quickly and in such a hurry, I dropped it on the floor. I picked it back up while doing the renegade and it was cracked a little at the corner. I snapped the photo swiftly and rushed over to Riley, who was studying in the library.
"Dude! I caught Jaymz Rodriguez sneaking into the girl's restroom!" I whispered so loudly, that I might as well have just yelled. I showed him the photo and it was just a blurry picture of my face. I didn't switch the mode so that it would change cameras, so it turns out I just snapped a picture of myself.
"Are you okay?" Riley questioned, probably concerned for my sanity.
"Yeah! Of course I'm okay!" I shot back, stifling my tears. "I swear I saw him, I just took a picture of the wrong thing!" I dramatically stormed out of the library while doing Savage and stomped into the hallway. I should've kept my emotions to myself, because Jaymz happened to be passing by at that moment. He giggled at me and had his really expensive iPhone 12 out. I think he was taking a video of me acting like a toddler. I didn't know he was the type of person to do that! I never knew the person who used to be my idol would turn into my arch-nemesis and bully in a span of two days. I would totally never do something like that to him!
I sprinted away from Jaymz and sobbed loudly in the restroom. I knew everyone was going to laugh at me. Sabrina was going to think less of me. For the rest of my life, I would be treated like a toddler, no matter how old I grew. I was spending a good amount of time trying to accept this fact when I realized the time- I was late for class!
