The next day, before homeroom began, I saw that Jaymz was walking up to Sam, who was talking to her friends near the cafeteria.
"Hey, princess, wanna be my girlfriend?" he asked snobbishly.
Before Shiloh could say anything, I shoved Jaymz aside and took a step closer towards Sydney. I pushed back her platinum blonde hair, looked into her surprised blue eyes and kissed her. As I drew away, I asked "Silena, will you be my girlfriend?" I was sure a lot of people heard it. Her face turned as red as a tomato, but I don't think she was blushing. She turned to look at me, and I could see a scary scowl on her face.
"First of all, my name is Samantha. S-A-M-A-N-T-H-A. Second of all, I'm gay," she told off angrily. Then she turned around and skipped down the hall gracefully yet barbarically without looking back once. Apparently, what I just did was supposed to make a girl love me, according to Wikihow. I don't understand what went wrong!
Jaymz turned to look at me. He was as shocked and surprised as I was. It took a moment for him to process what just happened. I could see his fiery eyes raging in fury from behind his dark sunglasses. I swear, he literally looked like he was about to Rick Roll me!
"You're going to regret this, McJimjamescoachjimmerslimmerson," he growled dangerously before starting to chase me. He was even armed with a pin-back button we got last week from school that says "Stand up to bullying!" in bold letters.
I scampered over to Mrs. Thomas, who was the nearest staff member.
"Mrs. Thomas! Jaymz Rodriguez is chasing me!" I shrieked. "Also, he spray painted my house!" I showed her the picture.
"Thank you for bringing this to my attention," she said calmly. "I'll have a word with him and his parents."
I got a little upset that she was calm about it, since it was so terrifying and traumatizing to have this dude who's six inches taller than you chase you around the hallway, but now that I think about it, Mrs. Thomas wasn't mean to me and Jaymz was going to have disciplinary action taken against him!
