This Feeling (Takeru 'Juggernaut' Noto X Reader)

Chapter Two

I now stand in front of my shop like normal but unlike normal, I'm closing shop early to visit Special FireBase Two. I felt myself fret as I put up flowers that couldn't be out during the night and water-thirsty plants that would be covered before I left. My mind wouldn't stop thinking about all the bad things that could happen. I sighed and finally closed the shop. 

I pulled a large bag over my shoulder and headed towards Ota Ward. Traffic passed on the roads, the sun, high and unforgiving, beat down on my barren shoulders. I tugged my large sun hat over my head. I began to fret once more but shook my head and continued the walk. After about a twenty-minute walk i was standing in front of a guarded gate with a military-like buildings and the like behind it. The building its self had what seemed to be cannons coming from the top.  

"Hello," I waved a hand to a guard standing near a guard stand with another inside, "I'm here to see Takeru Noto and Hajiki."

The two men looked between each other then busted out laughing, "You can't be the girl Hajiki was talking about!"

"Umm," I flushed and moved from foot to foot.

"Takeru?" the standing guard shook his head, "I think they are out running around the compound right now. He's second-class Fire Officer so they are doing exercises now."

"That's right," The sitting guard stood up and walked around the gate and opened it wide for me, "You can come in. I'll let Hajiki know you're here."

"It might be a minute, though," The one guard crossed his arms and nodded, "You might be lucky and see them run past."

I entered the gate as the guard spoke through his walkie-talkie, "I have... Ma'am your name?"

"(F/N) (L/N), " I answered and stood by the guard station.

"I have a Miss (L/N) here for Hajiki and Takeru," A beep sounded and the guard turned his back to me, I could barely hear him as he whispered, "She's really pretty! "

The guard standing next to me laughed and covered it in a cough before settling into looking out at the field between the buildings. I heaved the bag higher on my shoulder and smiled lightly before looking around the field myself. It was barren with some grass here and there. Banners hung from each building with a large two in red on it. Shouting was heard and I glanced to where the sounds were coming from. 

"Oh look," Guard one chuckled as he walked to the other side of me, "Here they come. After they reach here Hajiki might release them for the day."

I turned and watched the way guard one and two were looking. A group of people were running together. I subconsciously looked for Takeru in the group. As the group was about to pass I caught a glimpse of Takeru at the back with a couple of tired-looking soldiers. His large stature making him a whole head and a half taller than his squadmates. I admired his chest which wasn't overly built, covered in a black tee-shirt tucked into dark green cargo pants that seemed to extend his long legs more. I felt my face heat up as he held a hand up and waved. I slowly brought my own hand up in greeting. A second later he was running past and into the field in front of a door with a banner beside it. 

Hajiki, who was leading the group from the front, turned around and jogged back to me, "(L/N)!!!"

Everyone turned and looked at me, I ducked my head slightly, trying to hide as Hajiki yelled my last name. He reached me and grabbed me in a hug and spun wildly with me. 

"H-Help!" I shouted, "Let me go!"

"I missed you! I knew you would come to visit me!" 

With one more wild spin, my hat flew from my head, I reached my hand to grab it but failed. I watched as it flew into the wind before landing in the dirt in front of Takeru. I glared at Hajiki as he sat me down.
