I was thankful when we could finally leave. Karim had stopped by the car to say goodbye to me before we left, which was nice, but I was glad to be back at home. I made a beeline straight to my room to get into my orange jumpsuit.
I stepped back into the office ten minutes later feeling more like myself. Obi glared at me and had his arms crossed. I glanced around at the others who were just as confused as I was.
"Am I in trouble?"
"Yes, reason one you didn't show respect to the Emperor, And two, You acted weird in the middle of the meeting and then ran like a bat out of hell when it was over," Obi explained why he was mad.
"I don't believe in the sun god," I answered honestly, "He hasn't done anything for me. I had changed my life around and no god is going to take credit for my achievements. I respect people who do believe in him. I will even practice his teaching for mourning families but don't expect me to believe."
"That's understandable," Obi agreed, "You do well not throwing it in around. I would have thought you have forgotten all these times where you didn't tent your hands... What about during the meeting?"
"The second thing," I sighed, "It's a lot harder to explain."
I took my time and gave a detailed explanation. I described everything that happened during that short amount of time. I described the heat of the black flames and the smell of burnt flesh. I even described how I felt panic rise in my chest. Obi listened quietly and let me finish before he spoke again.
"That is a lot harder to explain," Obi agreed finally, "Let's not tell anyone about this just yet. You did splendidly keeping cool and calm in the meeting."
"I will tell you the next time it happens," I promised Obi.
"You can go about doing as you normally would," Obi cupped his chin, "when Shinra comes back we will have a company meeting.
Now, all we had to do was wait.

Shinra had made it back and Captain Obi told us our new mission. Find any leads through the past fire incidents. It was easier said than done. We all worked hard for two days after going through any files we've come across.
Everyone noticed Shinra acting differently than normal since he came back. Obi and Lieutenant had agreed to talk with him when they got the chance.
Everyone agreed after a while on the second day to take a break and rest a moment before continuing. I took a moment for myself by going to the store for sweets and tea. As I made it back Lieutanat Hinawa had made lunch with the help of Shinra. I guessed he had taken the time to chat with Shinra.
After lunch, Hinawa and Obi gathered us to tell us they had found a lead. We all listened to Obi and Hinawa's story about the first mission the unestablished eighth achieved. It gave an image of what Hinawa was really like and how strong Obi was even from the beginning.
After their story, Shinra felt like he could open up. He told us about Joker. He told us about Sho and his mother, and their promise. We all listened while he described everything. I felt sorry for Shinra. I was amazed he took that and made himself stronger.
Obi had told Shinra that if he believed it we did. He was a part of the eighth and we worked as a team. Everyone else agreed and promised that they would help him find his brother.
