I awoke with the twins peering over my head. I cupped my face and groaned out.

"She's awake!" They both yelled together, "The stupid girl is awake!"

"You know you shouldn't push yourself past your overheat limit," Hina huffed.

"You passed out because you weren't getting enough oxygen to that big head of yours!" Hika added before they both turned and walked out of the room I was in.

I sat up slowly and found that my neck was bandaged. I was still in my turn-out gear but my shirt was replaced. I looked over my body quickly. My wrist had a large bruise that was forming and My shoulders were sore. I slowly got to my legs and followed after the hyper girls chatting away.

They brought me out to the main door and outside. I squinted against the sun. I looked around and I gaped at the amount of work they had gotten done in the night. I spotted Captain Obi talking with Benimaru as they entered another building. The group was trailing after them.

"Oh, (L/N)," Konro said as he stood near Benimaru, "I'm glad to see you're well."

"Uh... T-thank you," I bowed slightly and then straightened up.

I quietly listened to Benimaru and Captain Obi talk. They agreed to become allies and to share information. They drunk a bowl of sake to seal the friendship. I smiled lightly as the air seemed friendly and unthreatening as when we first came to the Seventh.

We all packed up our gear and headed out after a while of chatting. It was while everyone was in the matchbox that I was cornered about what happened.

"You were cover in bruises," Maki frowned at me as we bumped down the road, "What happened?"

"Haru," I paused and tugged at my jacket, "He grabbed me and said all kinds of crazy nonsense. He bit my neck..."

Hinawa bluntly spoke from his seat in the front, "You fought him right?"

"I ended up held down by him until he bit me. I guess I freaked out and used my abilities on him," I scowling and messed with the button on my sleeve, "But before that, I was back in that hellish world with flames."

"You saw something like that?" Shinra asked and grinned creepily, "I had a similar vision while fighting the demon."

"Black flames?" I asked.

"Heat but never burning," Shinra added and leaned back in his seat.

We all sat quietly on the way back. We unpacked our stuff and went into company eight's church. Hibana was throwing a fit while sister looked relieved to see us back.

"A new person is joining us," Sister Iris explained, "It made sister angry. She has been raving since she received the news."

"Captain Obi!" Hibana huffed and turned from her ranting, "You're so slow! Haijima is sending a person who will be your new chemist but I smell spy all over it."

I walked past the chatting Captains and entered the office. I was emotionally tired and didn't want to get in the way of the Captains and their business. A male came out of a room next to our equipment room. His big dark eyes stared me down.

"I guess you're the new recruit," I spoke and pointed over my shoulder, "They are discussing you now so if you want to make a grand entrance like a pro I would head there now."

He grinned at me, "Thank you!"

I peered over my shoulder as he passed me and made his entrance to the Captain. I went to my desk and laid my head down on it. I felt like since we got to the seventh i had been running nonstop.
