Daichi did a serve and their #4 came in to receive it. Likewise, their #10 set it to Ushijima. Asahi and Tsukishima jumped to block him and when Ushijima's spike collided into my wrists, it flew off to another direction. Shit...Their #7 was then switched in with their #12. He did a jump float serve and I went in to receive it, Kageyama toss it to Asahi and he was able to get the spike over even when theres three of them blocking him. Their #14 then dived in in order to save the ball. He saved it?! Their #4 quickly toss it to Ushijima. Kageyama, Tsukishima and Asahi jumped to block him off but Ushijima ended up gently tossing the ball over their block when he jumped.

"Damn!" Tanaka cussed. Kageyama tried to receive the ball but his hand wasn't close enough. Me, Tanaka and Daichi tried to save it but it had touched the ground. The! Ball! Damn it now both teams are at 24!

"Is the exhausted setter going to have to face the deuce of despair!" Their #5 said while moving weirdly. That's something new.

"The only time I will ever feel despair is when I won't be able to play volleyball anymore" Kageyama told him in a threatening tone.

"All of you guys are monsters" Their #5 seems annoyed about it. The crowd cheered as both team got their breaks.

"Sit here" Asahi pat the empty space beside him. I wrap the towel around my neck before sitting next to him on the bench.

"The position of the defense is fine as it is right now. You were able to follow up with a one touch" Coach said while I wipe the sweat off my face with the towel.

"Can you go on, Kageyama?" Coach asks him.

"Of course" He looks and sounds determined.

"If you're exhausted, I can switch with you at any time" Sugawara was jumping up and down excitedly.

"I won't get exhausted!" Kageyama said.

"What about you, Yamada?" Coach looked at me this time. Huh? Me? Why would you ask me?

"I'm not exhausted as well" I said even though I was confuse.

"I thought you would be because you seem to be sweating a lot than you usually do. Good to see you still have the energy" Coach said. Well I've never played this long so today is a first.

It was back to playing once the break was over. Their #7 did another jump float serve and Daichi toss it to Kageyama, he then set it to Asahi who spike it over the net and through their block. Sadly they were able to score their point back thanks to their #5. I frown when it was Ushijima who's gonna be doing the serve. The others shouted to taunt him to come at us. He threw the ball upwards and jump to hit it. Our eyes widened when it collided into the top of the volleyball net. Just like that, the ball rolled over the net and fell to the ground with me and Daichi trying to save it.

"Miracle boy, Wakatoshi!" Their #5 said dramatically while Ushijima was busy getting the ball back for another serve.

"One more point! One more point!" The crowd cheered for Shiratorizawa. Ushijima did a jump serve and I could see the ball headed to my side.

"Yamada!" Daichi shouted my name but he didn't had to call me because I was already on my way to save the ball. I felt relieved when the ball was back up.

"Chance ball!" Their Libero received it and their #5 jumped to play as the decoy. Their #10 set it to their #4.

Both Tsukishima and Kageyama jumped and blocked their #4, leaving no space for him to get the ball through. I could finally let out a breath of relief when the ball slammed into our block, their #10 tried to receive the ball but it bounced off towards the outside. The crowd cheered as we got the point. My face cringes when I remembered earlier Kageyama and Tsukishima crashed into each other when they had to jump in order to block their #4's spike. It look like it hurted.
