When Shiratorizawa managed to get 8 points, both teams had a timeout. We huddle around coach and Sensei, I was standing between Hinata and Nishinoya since they left a spot for me. With the crowd cheering for Shiratorizawa in the background, we listen to what coach and Sensei has to say.

"Huh...Blocking all comes down to timing! If they get through the top, it'll be difficult to prepare to receive, as well. You need to touch the ball, even if you can't stop it! Make Ushijima feel that theres a wall" Coach said.

"Yes!" We responded. I look at Tsukishima when I notice he didn't look confident. Frustrated? I tense up when he gave me a glare for staring at him too long. Hey I was just wondering-

"Stay still" Sugawara suddenly approached me with a towel. My body basically froze when he decided to wipe the sweat off my face for me. Ohhhhhhhh...

"I've already chosen a theme for the sleepover. I'm just waiting for your approval" Sugawara whispered to me with a soft smile.

"I like it" I said without even knowing because I was lost in his eyes.

"But I haven't even told you the theme yet" He pointed out and I finally snapped out of it. Oh shit, sorry!

"Yamada?" Hinata stood beside me and was looking both me and Sugawara with a confuse gaze.

"Talk later?" I ask Sugawara and he nods in response. Before you know it, timeout was over and now it was time for us to get back on the volleyball court.

The match continued and the tension was slowly coming back. I mean it wasn't even gonna be easy in the first place. Ushijima sent another attack towards me and I tried to receive it, but because of the momentum of the ball. It ended up bouncing off to another direction after crashing into my wrists. This is all about timing, just like coach said. Not gonna lie, I was impressed to see Tsukishima managing to touch the ball when attempting to block Ushijima's attack. Even though they still score a points, it was really close. With Shiratorizawa at 16 points, we had another timeout.

"You did great" Kageyama told me while I drink my water from the bottle. Really? It didn't felt like it.

"You were actually able to react to Ushiwaka's spikes" Ennoshita said. I...well...

"Its thanks to Nishinoya. He taught me well" I grab him by the hand and he was confuse at first but a smile immediately appeared on his face.

"That's right!" He wrapped his arm across my shoulder as I drink the rest from the bottle.

"I don't know if its just a feeling but I don't think the spike I was able to touch was his full strength. He could be warming up his engines and concentrating more on getting his spikes over our blocks" I decided to point out when I realise I was full from drinking water.

"I remember in middle school, getting passes from a guy that was left-handed was really hard" Tanaka said and I look at him sideways.

"So apparently with Ushiwaka's shots...his half-speed shots are killer, too" Daichi also spoke and I had to turn to look at him. My neck already hurts, give me a break.

"Tsukki, man. You jammed your finger? Are you okay?" Yamaguchi said in concern.

"Did you have to rhyme that?" Tsukishima sounded annoyed by it.

"Jammed your finger? Does it hurt?" I approached them, obviously worried like Yamaguchi is.

"It's nothing" He move his hand away when I try to touch it. Hey! I'm just worried!

"I'll do it. Let me see" Ennoshita said and Tsukishima was able to give him his hand so he could help him wrap it up. This is bullshit. How come he let's him touch his hand while I can't?!
