Asahi gave the ball a few bounces before he did a jump serve. Their #8 received it and I watch as their #10 toss it to Ushijima. I tried to receive the ball but it bounced off, it touched the ground before I even got the chance to pass it to the others. Damn it...We all got ready when it was Ushijima's turn to do a serve. He did a jump serve and I was startled when the ball hit Tanaka in the face, but what was even more surprising was when the ball bounced back to their side and touched the ground. Wow Tanaka scored us a point without even trying...

"Its just as I planned!" Tanaka got back up on his feet and pretended like he wasn't surprised that that just happened.

"You're tearing up" Tsukishima pointed out casually.

"Good job Tanaka! We're ahead in points now" I tried to boost his confidence by playing along with him and it worked when I saw him smile at me.

Tsukishima swapped with Hinata and Hinata seem really motivated to beat Shiratorizawa, or should I say Ushijima? How does he always manage to have beef with people from other school? I watch as the others get the chance ball. Kageyama then set the ball for Hinata, he jumped and was about to spike it over the net until their #5 appeared out of nowhere. The ball! He blocked it! Once the ball had touched the door. He looked at Hinata and I was able to hear what he said to Hinata.

"If you want to beat Wakatoshi-kun, you're gonna have to beat me, first. Ya know?" He said and I was creeped out by him. He looks scary...and attractive. Wait what—

Anyways, their #4 did a jump serve and Daichi was there to receive the ball, even though it was a bit off. Tanaka tossed it to Kageyama and he got ready to hit it. During the last second, their #5 changed where his hands were blocking and was able to shut off Kageyama's attack from getting over the net. I definitely didn't expect that trick. I didn't even know you could do that. So much to learn...I sigh as I watch their #5 get excited.

"Don't mind, Kageyama-kun! Don't, don't mind! Kageyama—" Hinata said and Kageyama immediately went to beat him up to shut him off.

Their #4 did a jump serve again and Daichi received it again as well. Kageyama set the ball for Hinata and just when I thought Hinata would be able to get the ball over the net, their #5 was fast enough to block it off. I dived in and try to receive the ball but failed to. Oh, he's good. I look up to see him staring at me with a grin. Huh? He then straighten his back and looked up.

"I'm...120% today!" He said. My mind is thinking about a lot of things right now...

"You doing alright?" Daichi gave me his hand and he pretty much helped me get up from the ground.

"Thanks" I said.

"Don't try to beat yourself down again, okay?" He stroke my head and I chuckle when I realise he was trying to mess up my hair. Hey!

"Oh?" My attention was pulled away when I saw Sensei calling for a timeout. It's no surprise at this point.

"Here, drink some" Sugawara hand me a water bottle and I made sure to thank him before taking a long sip from it.

"We're going to cut them off on the next one!" Hinata said out loud.

"Hinata, we're going to switch things up! Get this next one!" Tanaka was also loud about it.

"Right!"

"Hey, Kageyama, what's wrong with your face?" They both look at Kageyama who really has something wrong with his face. He looks really angry but at the same time doesn't want to show it.

"Nothing's wrong" Kageyama lied.

"You liar!" Took the words right out of my mouth.

"I have an idea. How about instead of ordering for delivery food, we cook at your place. Don't worry, I'll shop for the ingredients" Sugawara whispered to me while trying not to let the others hear him.
