I'm now in the club room and completely in shock after getting back my exam paper, also sitting between Hinata and Kageyama who look soulless. Sadly, I was one score from getting 40 mark on my paper, that means I won't be going to Tokyo with the others. Sigh...Why must life always treat me so harshly...
"This is how awesome..." "...your senpais are!" Nishinoya and Tanaka finish their sentences together, proudly showing us the exam scores they got.
"You both barely got over 40 points..." Their confidence weaken when Sugawara finally said the truth, the hard truth. But Me, Kageyama and Hinata were still feeling down...
"What? Hinata, you failed English? But you were so confident..." Sugawara and Tsukishima are both looking at Hinata's exam paper. Thank god their not looking at my math paper, I wrote a lot of weird answers.
"Apparently, he figured out right before time was up that he'd filled in all his answers off by one." Tsukishima look at Sugawara with a frown on his face.
"Seriously? Sadly, the English teacher, Ono-sensei, won't let things like that slide." Asahi joined the Hinata pity party.
"Yeah, Yachi-san was really shocked" Yamaguchi said. Now I can imagine Yachi's reaction, tears pouring out of her eyes as she look at the exam paper. Yikes...
"And Kageyama failed modern lit..." Daichi was looking at Kageyama's exam paper, guess it's his turn to be pitied.
"Apparently, there were a lot of reading comprehension questions this time around. But he'd concentrated on memorization when he studied." Ennoshita said, yeah that definitely sounds like what Kageyama would stick to doing.
"Yamada on the other hand was so close to getting 40 marks, he would have passed if he had got this question correct" Sugawara point at a question and I didn't need to look to know which one his pointing at, I remember staring at that exact same question for minutes after grabbing back the exam paper.
"Well, don't be too discouraged. This won't be the only time we have away games..." Sugawara added to his sentence, his eyes still glued on my paper.
"Then how are we gonna get to Tokyo?" I ask while looking at Sugawara, using my innocent eyes on him. Hinata and Kageyama in the other hand...
"Should we run?" "Nah,we need bikes" You could see a roaring fire burning right behind them, nothing can stop them from going there, and I'm totally with them.
"Hey, the stupid trio" We turn around when Tanaka called us, the stupid trio indeed.
"You guys only failed one exam, right? Then you should be able to finish your supplementary exam in the morning. After that, I'll call your savior" Tanaka had a mischievous grin, his up to something but if it ends up with me arriving at Tokyo then I'm down!
