"You're such an ass." I hissed at Kuya Dustan as he is not yet done making fun of me.

"I'm not sorry...what happened to you was really funny." Inalalayan niya akong makaupo na mula sa pagkakahiga sa gurney.

I broke my right arm and my hand is swollen. I have to wear a brace for the next months.

"And you know that what will happen to your carefully crafted system will not be funny should I decide to sue Wonderland?" I raised a brow at him.

"You wouldn't." Nakangiti pa siya but I could tell that he was already making sure if I am serious or not.

"If you keep on teasing her, she really might sue Wonderland, darling." The woman named Siddharta took our attention. She had this really serious yet very lovely face, almost assymetrical that I instantly added her to my list of woman crushes.

Kasama siya nina Kuya Mik at Kuya Dustan sa pagbisita sa akin ngayong araw at ngayon ko pa lang din siya nakilala. Ate Rory, Kuya Mik and her friend Ate Carmen who never left my side ever since I got admitted to Andrade Med had stepped out to get some food when they arrived.

"I'm sorry about the freak accident, Aya. The leak on the floor was caused by the cooling system's malfunction. We already made counter measures and legal actions towards the assigned favor bringers." She gestured for Kuya Dustan to move out of her way na sumunod naman. I think hindi ko lang siya crush, I also like her already seeing her immuned to Kuya Dustan. Kadalasan kasi ng mga umaaligid dati kay Kuya Dustan ay kulang na lang luhuran siya para mapansin. "This has never happened before kaya ako mismo ang personal na pumunta para siguraduhing mabilis kang makarecover at mapigilan ang kung ano mang kalokohang lalabas sa bibig nito ni Dustan."

Tumango ako nang napagtugma na ang pagpunta niya rito.

"You're the owner of Wonderland." I stated.

Napaisip muna siya bago tumango at nagsalita.

"I was...fired..." She eyed Kuya. "By my husband, with this idiot's help...but...I own 60% of the shares, so yes, I own most it, but I am not proud of that fact..." She gave me an apologetic smile.

Tumango ulit ako sa kanya. I am not one to prod.

"I'm not going to sue. Kuya Dustan maybe an idiot but we're cool." I stuck a tongue at him. He instantly relaxed.

"Oh...okay. Another character development for our dear thespian, huh?" Binalingan niya si Kuya Dustan.

"What can I say, Sidd?" Kuya gave her his signature smile. He is boyishly handsome that way.

Umiling lang sa kanya si Siddharta at bumaling na ulit sa akin.

"Wonderland will cover and refund all expenses that's necessary and we will make sure that you will be provided a lawyer to cover the legal aspects of this. Pasensiya na rin, kahit sabihin mong hindi ka magdedemanda—"

"I understand." I smiled at her. "It was a freak accident...I also...don't want to make a big issue out of this. Hihiram na lang ako kay Kuya Mik ng pera for the hospital bills...I..I don't want anything from Wonderland...from WonderWall...from that part of my kalokohan."

Siddharta gaped at me.

"But you can get millions if you play this well?" Parang siya pa ang naghinayang.

"Oh no...I don't want that." Umiling ako and halted a hand. "and I'm willing to sign another NDA or whatever...I just want to forget this ever happened." Halos bulong na lang ang nasabi ko. "I know that you're just doing your responsibility and doing damage control being here and I'm sure you already know my background and my father's human rights advocacy. I also know na isang sabi ko lang sa kanya ay mawawala ang lahat ng ito sa inyo. But I won't do that...you can have all that in writing to secure your secrets..."
