21 | Marriage?

"Excuse me, but can we give Jisoo some time to think and get permission from her parents too?" Taehyung asked.

His parents nodded, "sure, we understand" his mother said. Taehyung look at her and whisper, "take your time" he said and held her hand under the table.

She stayed silent, after Taehyung's parents left. Jisoo went to their shared room, she sat on the bed and sighed.

Suddenly the door opens, revealing Taehyung. She tilts her head up to look at him but she just remember everything earlier.

Taehyung walked in and stood in front of her. She looked down on her feet of nervousness, she couldn't face him right now.

He kneel down and look at her, "Don't think much of what my parents said earlier, we'll ask for your parents permission first and then you'll take your time to think." He said.

Jisoo look at her and nodded, "I'm just afraid that your parents might hate me for not agreeing earlier..." she confessed.

Taehyung smiled and caress her left cheek, "They completely understand your decision, now please stop worrying of that." He told.

She smiled bitterly and look at his caring eyes. "Get ready, we're going to meet your parents, hm?" he remind 

She nodded and say "I'll change into something nice first." she said. "All right, I will wait for you downstairs" he replied.

09:21 AM

They arrived at Jisoo's parents house, her father was staring at Taehyung while her mother is looking at her lovely daughter.

"I will only agree to this marriage if you promise to love and take care of my daughter" her father stated. 

Taehyung gulped and say "Mr. & Mrs. Kim, I promise sincerely that my feelings for your lovely daughter is true...

....I know you're worried about her safety because I'm a Mafia, but I promise I will keep your daughter safe." He said clearly.

Jisoo look at him with a sweet smile, "Okay, so where are the papers we need to sign to?" Jisoo's father asked as he look around.

"Are you sure about this honey?" her mother questioned, "Yes" he answered. Taehyung took out the papers and let them sign.

While Jisoo is surprised about the sudden decision her parents agreed onto. "Don't hurt my daughter or I will kill you!" Mr. Kim said and glare at Taehyung.

"Trust me sir, I will risk my life for her" he replied jokingly, the two elders laughed while Jisoo just chuckle.

Taehyung stood up and bowed at Jisoo's parents in 90 degrees, "I am very thankful for giving me your permission to marry your daughter." he stated.

Jisoo stood up as well as her parents, "I wish you two a joyful life and a happy family" Mrs. Kim replied and smiled.

"Keep your promise, I trust you" Mr. Kim said, Taehyung look at his girlfriend's parents and nodded.

10:07 AM

They came back home, Jisoo head to their bedroom through the bathroom to take a shower.

While Taehyung followed her her, he left the documents on the bed. He stood in front of the bathroom door and peek.

Unfortunately... Jisoo noticed him when she bent down. "AHH! GET OUT!" she screamed, Taehyung laughed and left.

He got out of the room to head downstairs but then suddenly, he got a call from his bodyguard 

He groan and picked it up...

"What now?" he asked, "Mr. Kim Jumyeon is coming to your house to take Ms. Kim away from you sir.."

"Why now? Forget it, get 30 assassins, Semi-Automatic Rifles, and a helicopter. I need those now, I'll give you 10 minutes." he seriously said.

"Yes sir" his guard replied and hung up the call. Taehyung entered their shared room again and walked towards the closet room.

He opened the closet room and pressed a button on top. He stepped backwards and watch his closet change into a gun room.

He poked his right cheek with his tongue and pulled out a few weapons. He heard a noise coming from his backyard.

It's must be one of the helicopter's he owned. Suddenly Jisoo got out of the bathroom, wrapped with a towel on her body.

Taehyung look at her and handed her clothes. She was frozen on her spot, "Looking good baby" he spoke as he winked at her.

Jisoo hit his arm and took the clothes, "w-why there are guns in the closet...?" she asked stuttering.

"For safety purposes, now wear that clothes fast." he replied, she look at him and ask, "Why?"

"I don't want you to be taken away, so listen to me. My rival who kidnapped you will take you away from me....

....after you put on your clothes, I will lead you to the backyard then you'll come with my guard. He'll take you to a safe place, okay?"

He explained, she nodded and went back in to the bathroom to wear her clothes. After a minute, she got out of the bathroom.

She saw Taehyung  waiting for her in the bed. He stood up and walked towards her, "let's go" he said and took her hands.

While they are heading to the backyard, they heard gunshot's, Taehyung quickly covered Jisoo's ears.

He lead her outside, Jisoo's eyes widen seeing a helicopter in front of her. "I'm gonna ride this?!" she asked.

She look at Taehyung "Yes, now go, we don't have time." he answered, she grip onto his sleeve and shook her head.

"No, I can't!" she refused, he cupped her face and ask "Why not?" he questioned. "I'm afraid of heights.." she confessed.

"Hey, It's okay, you'll be safe. Trust me, hm?" he comfort, she look at him with her glassy eyes. 

"You will come with me, right?" she asked, "No, I had to do my mission. Sooyaa don't worry, I will meet you after this" he said.

"But Tae.." she couldn't finish her words because Taehyung cut her off. "I don't want you to be taken away so please listen" he pleaded.

She let out a tear on her left eye, she understood him so she go inside the helicopter. He waved at her before they left.

His face suddenly change into a serious expression. He stretched his neck "now let's get this thing started" he mumbled.
