Julian's POV: The next day me and the team are at STAR Labs training Jalena in the speed lab. "You want me to what?!" Jalena asked. "We want you to try to zap Barry." Cisco said. "Why?" Jalena asked. "So we can see how good your aim is." Barry said. "Plus we need to measure the amount of energy you produce when you create lightning." I said. "And how are you gonna do that?" Jalena asked. "With this." I said showing her the small device I made. "What is that?" She asked. "This is a lightning scale. It's like a regular scale except instead of calculating you the number of pounds you weight, it calculates the number of megajoules you give when you use your powers." I said. "Ok that sounds great but won't it hurt Barry when I zap him?" She asked. "Somewhat but not a lot. You see I have a theory that if you zap Barry with a lightning bolt then his body will absorb the electricity." Caitlin said. "And how much do you believe that theory is true?" Jalena asked. "About 75%." Caitlin said. "Just don't think about it." Cisco said. I start to attach the lightning scale to Jalena's arm. "So how long have you been a CSI?" Jalena asked. "About a year now. I've always had a love for science and stuff so one day I just decided to move to America and become a CSI." I said. "That sounds cool." She said. "How long have you been a science nerd?" I asked. "What makes you think I'm a science nerd?" She asked. "Well you graduated high school at 13 and got into Central City University when you were 14. You graduated from the university at 18 and from there you started your own tech company called Summers-Thompson's Science and Technology." I said. "And how would you know all of that?" She asked. "I did a little research." I said. "Oh. Well then to answer your question I have been a science nerd my whole life." She said. I finish attaching the scale to her arm and walks over to Cisco. Barry steps back a few feet away from Jalena. "Ready?" Barry asked. Jalena turns into Voltage. "Ready." Voltage said. Barry Starts running while Voltage tries to zap him. She misses and accidentally zaps Cisco. "Ow." Cisco said. "Sorry." Voltage said. "Try not to zap me next time." Cisco said. "Not my fault you were in the way Short Stack." Voltage said. "Ok can we have Jalena back?" Cisco asked. Voltage rolls her eyes and changes back into Jalena. "So?" Jalena asked. "I think we're done training for the day." Caitlin said. I walk over and looks at the lightning scale. "You've used 700 megajoules. So if my calculations are correct then you give-." I said. "100 megajoules." Jalena said. "Yeah. That's right." I said. I take the scale off her arm. I look at her and notices how beautiful she looks. "You have the most beautiful brown eyes." I said.
Jalena's POV: I look at Julian. "What?" I asked. "Um I said you are um so smart." Julian said. "Oh thanks." I said. I walk out of the speed lab, goes to the restroom, changes out of my training clothes, and puts on the spare clothes I brought with me.

I head out to work. *at Summers-Thompson's Science and Technology* I walk into the building and heads up to my office and starts looking for my ring. After an hour I hear someone knock on the door. I turn around to see Caitlin. "Oh hi." I said. "Hey." She said. "What are you doing here?" I asked. "Well you left STAR Labs in such a hurry that I thought something was wrong." She said. "Nothing's wrong." I said still looking. "Really because you're searching every inch of this room acting like someone bugged your office." She said. I stop looking and sighs. "I lost my ring." I said. "What ring?" She asked. "My wedding ring. I lost it yesterday and now I can't find it." I said. "Do you want me to help you look?" She asked. Once she said those words I then remember a similar situation from my past.
*flashback* I'm in my room at my house with my boyfriend Jessie Thompson and he's helping me study for my AP Biology test. "Which enzyme is found in human saliva?" Jessie asked reading the flashcards I made. "Ptyalin." I said. Jessie looks at the answer and smiles. "Correct. Again." He said. I smile. "You are on fire today, babe. I don't think you even need to study." He said. "What can I say? I'm a smart cookie." I said. "My smart cookie." He said. I giggle and leans over and kisses him. He kisses back. We pull apart and he helps me put away my notes and stuff. "So I was thinking that since it's our one year anniversary, tomorrow night we can go to that new Italian restaurant downtown." Jessie said. "Sounds fancy. I'm in." I said walking over to my vanity mirror and fixes my hair. I then notice that my necklace is gone. "Oh no!" I said and starts looking in drawers. "Babe what's wrong?" Jessie asked. "My necklace is gone." I said. "Which one?" He asked. "The one with the gold ring hanging from the chain." I said. "Ok calm down I'm sure you can just get a new one." He said. "No no I can't just get a new one because that necklace was special." I said. "How? It's worthless." He said. "The chain is but the ring isn't. It was my mother's favorite ring. She gave that to me as a gift for my eighth birthday. It's the last thing she gave to me before she died. It's worth more to me than what money can buy. I wouldn't give it up even if my life depended on it." I said. "Ok babe calm down." Jessie said. He walks over and holds my arms to keep me still. "Listen I will help you look for it ok? If getting that necklace back is so important to you then I'll search with you even if it takes all weekend." He said. "You would do that for me?" I asked. "I'd do anything for you. I'd even take a hit for you. Your happiness is more important to me than my own life." He said. I smile and hugs him tightly so he hugs back. "I love you Jessie Thompson." I said. "I love you too Jalena Summers." He said. *end of flashback*
"Jalena?" Someone asked waving their hand in my face. I shake my head and sees Caitlin. "Are you ok? You kinda zoned out for a minute." Caitlin said. "Yeah I'm fine. Just help me look for my ring ok?" I asked. "Yeah sure." She said. We start looking for my ring.
