"Mama?" Nasha ask quietly as both her mother and herself stormed out of the house. Lucy furious expression's changed into more of a soft one when she kneel down to Nasha as soon as they got away from the house.
"Honey" She begins "Dont take whatever your grandfather, my father, said about you to heart. He doesn't know you nor he ever will" She paused briefly "Just know that I am very grateful that I have real family of my own. It doesn't have to be blood-related afterall" Lucy wipes Nasha's tears.
"Mmm..mama!" Nasha cries softly as Lucy hugs her "There there. Mama's got you" She whispers softly rubbing the child's back. "I-I love you" She sobs making Lucy heart thump loudly.
"I love you too Nasha. So does Daddy" Lucy felt tears prick into her eyes and swallowing down a sob harshly. Nasha glanced at her mother with her eyes teary eyed, as did her mother.
Lucy burps accidentally "Ohh excuse me" she flushed "I must have swallowed some air" she adds muttering to herself, making Nasha giggles softly.
"Mama" she giggles.
"Lets go get something to eat before heading home" Lucy said as she took her daughter's hand as they both made their way back into Magnolia.
Not once have they looked back at Lucy's old house or her father who was watching them from his room's window.
