Jude didnt believe his own daughter walked out of this house, along with his live with he admits to himself hurts. He was upset that she didnt take his planned path for her future, as it was supposed to save the inheritence once she gave birth to a baby born for her planned husband.
She was of age after all.
She was supposed to follow her duties as the last Heartfillia women and walked on the path he choosen for her, not wondering off making a family of her own. She clearly didnt think right when she found fairytail. Running away didnt help ethier to the both of them, in fact it did gave a huge disservice for the both of them.
She didnt clearly think and she also made it clear that she perfer her new family over him just the way she defended the guild and her small family of her own(he still cannot believe it). The way she reacted when he spoke ill of her family especially right in front of her daughter.
He knew the look of her eyes meant.
She would not forgive him for speaking ill against her loved ones, especially her family. She defened them heavily and wouldnt dare to come here again, as she took his granddaughter and left.
Not even once they looked back, he knows because he was watching them from a window.
He sighed and slumped into his large desk chair and covered his face with his hands.
