Savitar's POV

"Have any questions for me???" Everyone's gaze was peeled towards me as I casually made myself at "home" in the cortex. This seemed to be the best I could come up with at the time since Barry, leader of Team Flash and my past self, had his share full of trust issues.

"Who are you??" Chester remarked.

"I'm basically Barry from an alternate future. Still beats me as to why I'm here though considering I was shot in the back by Iris here," glaring at her brown, irritated eyes. "I wasn't necessarily the best guy I could be in the future and I even proclaimed myself a god. Savitar aka Hindu God of Motion."

"Cool!!!!" he grinned from ear to ear. "I mean... awful!! But don't you remember everything he's been through?" pointing to Barry next to him.

"The last 28 years, but from 2017 to now, I still don't remember what he did these past years since it seems my connection with him has been severed. As a measure of trust guys", as I tapped Barry's shoulder to remove a black, circular item, "this over here is a mic and audio device I used to spy on Barry."

"Trust??? You threatened Caitlin when I was fine tuning the Speed Force cannon and you killed H.R!!!!!" Cisco hollered.

"And you tried to blow us up with the Philosopher's Stone!!!"

"Plus, you started that whole footage fiasco thing right??? I hacked into the cameras in Caitlin's...." Barry began to gesture a X symbol and the strained but nervous look began to peek through which could only mean one thing.

"Let's not talk about that dude, okay??" Barry mentioned. "I told you that I would tell her when the time was right!"

"What is it??" However, before she could mention another word, instantly, I pulled out my phone and showed it to everyone. "Barry!!! How the hell could you keep this a secret!!"

"No wonder he decided not to tell you if you were gonna react like that" I remarked. "It's quite amazing how you guys were still able to forgive each other even after something like this!!" However, Caitlin decided to exit before the video finished wrapping up. I'm not supposed to have feelings and I know that someone like me is way too far to even remember what they are, but as I saw her concerned, troubled expression, hands crossed and eyebrows furrowed, something inside me began to stir. Storming off into the brown corridors of the facilities, the discomfort continued to eat at me like no one in the room even mattered anymore.

"Caitlin!!!" Barry exclaimed as he began to walk to her. "We're not done yet Savitar!!"

"Fine!!! But there are current events that we do need to focus on and traitors up our sleeves right? The Speed Force!" Just as the words slipped from my mouth, I found myself looking into the very eyes that I've seen as a kid. The long, flowing, crimson red hair and the olive texture reminded me of a past that I'd long forgotten with my mom. This person standing in front of Barry in the opening of the hallway was her yet, but not quite since no one could live up to her. "Tell me one good reason that I shouldn't kill you right now for what you did to Alexa!!! It's better to end things before problems get started right??" I had my vibrating hand close to her chest as she was being pinned down with my other arm on the wall.

"Because.... if you kill me and take another life, this so called change of yours is gonna be quite useless isn't it? Do you actually think anyone will ever look at you the same after all the things you did?? Joe, Cisco, Barry, Iris, the new team members, Caitlin?"

"Don't you dare say her name," as I slowly lifted my grasp from her chest.

"I just wanted to ask for you or Barry's help so that we can kill the forces."

"I'm not gonna help you. We're supposed to save lives not destroy them!!" Barry yelled.

"What about you Savitar?? I could use a killer like you on my side."

"Not interested. I've been there, done that. It gets tiring after a while you know??"

"I WILL KILL THEM WITH OR WITHOUT YOUR HELP!!! There's nothing you can do to stop me." In an instant, the multicolored lightning trail blazed off into the distance. Standing there, everyone seemed quite dismayed by the news of this betrayal and it must've had a toll on Barry the most due to the angry but pained look in his eyes. The hope and optimism he usually has was now replaced by a stark, grim outlook on the task that was ahead of him. Something had to be done about this and based on our history of betrayals, it would probably be something he couldn't come back from.

"I have an idea guys!! What if we wipe the forces from ever existing in the first place??" as Barry turned to his team. "I know it may be hard, but this is the only way."

Author's Note: I'm really sorry that I'm not updating and writing as often as I used to towards the beginning of this book. There's been a lot of stuff in school plus an AP exam coming up soon. However, I will try to make each new chapter come out every week, but it could be longer depending on the time I have to write.
