Chapter Two

Daphne:Amelia?Amelia?

I rub my eyes and look at Daphne.

Her and the flight attendant are looking at me.

Daphne:Haha we been like trying to wake you up. We are here every one is already off of the plane you silly girl.

I get up and I do not see any one else in the plane.

Daphne: Come on we gotta go get our luggage!

I grab my backpack and follow her off of the plane. We arrive at the carousel of suitcases. I see all three of my suitcases so I grab them.

Daphne:Where are mine like oh my God I can not go with out my necessities!

Daphne storms over to the people in charge of the suitcases. As I try to pick up all three of my suitcases I look over at the door to leave and I see three signs. One of them say Shawn fuller another says Daphne Erickson . Hmm then I see my name Amelia Ryder.

What? I'm really confused I was just gonna take a taxi to the campus. Daphne comes up behind me rolling her pink sparked bag.

Daphne:Look they found my luggage!

Amelia:Thats good. Um what are they for.

I point at the men holding the signs with our names on them.

Daphne:Are you sure you read that brochure?

Amelia:Kinda....

Daphne:Okay well these cars will take you to your dorm or where ever the campus has you placed.

Amelia:Oh so not everyone stays on campus?

Daphne:Ya everyone does it's just certain sections on campus.

Amelia:Couldn't we all just ride in the same car?

Daphne:Well like I said we are all going to certain parts on campus. That's why you had to fill out that long personality survey.

Amelia:Oh okay.

Daphne:Well come on let's go.

Daphne and I walk to the men with the signs.Daphne goes to the sign with her name on it and I go to mine.

The man with the sign introduces himself as Mark.

Mark:Good morning Amelia Ryder can I get your things?

I nod and help him with it.

Mark:Don't worry I got it you can get into the car.

Amelia:Um okay thank you.

Mark opens the door for me and I hop in.

He shuts the door he finishes putting my suitcases in the trunk. He comes over to the driver side and turns on the car we take off.

Mark:I think you are gonna really like Westonburg University.

Amelia:I hope so.

Mark:You will and you will fit right in.

Ya right Me fit in this guy doesn't know me at all. Like I would fit in any where.

Amelia:Um ya? Do you know what part of the campus I will be staying at?

Mark:Yes ma'am you will be staying at the Westonburg cottage.

Amelia:Westonburg cottage?

Mark:Yes ma'am you are very lucky.

Amelia:Lucky?

Mark:Yes very few are chosen to stay in cottages.

Amelia:Really?

Mark:Yes in my 25 years of driving for the Westonburg University I only have dropped off maybe three people at the cottage. Everyone else is on the campus.

Amelia:The cottage isn't on campus?

Mark:Its very close to campus but it is not on campus.

The car slowly pulls up to a brick road path.

Mark:Here we are The Westonburg cottage.

Amelia:Its beautiful.

He goes and gets my suitcases and I help him.We both take them to the door.He reaches into his pocket and pulls out some keys. He looks at me and hands them to me.

Mark:Have a nice day Ma'am.

He smiles and head to his car and drives off.I step back look at the two story cottage. It's very beautiful I cannot wait to see the inside.

I use the keys the man gave me to open the door. I slowly open the door and I drag my suitcases Inside.I shut the door behind me and put the keys in my pocket. The cottage is fully furnished it has beautiful furniture. I look at the walls and see paintings of the ancestors of the Westonburg family. As I stare I get startled by a knock at the door. I walk over to the door and look through the peep hole.

It is a very attractive guy with a dark red button up shirt and Blue jeans with a tool belt .He doesn't look too much older than me. I slowly open the door he looks at me and smiles he extends his hand. He introduces himself as Ross Burke.

Ross:Hello I just thought that I would come and introduce myself. I'm the ground keeper.

Amelia: Oh nice to meet you.

Ross:Nice to meet you too. Is there anything I can help you with?

Amelia: No I don't think so. I think I'm okay.

Ross: Oh okay well if you need me I will be around. If anything breaks or something such as that I'll come and fix it.

Amelia: okay thank you.

He smiles and I smile back then I shut the door.

He seemed very nice. I look out the window but I don't see him anymore.

Hmmm I wonder where he went?

I grab my suitcases and I head upstairs and I Find my room . I see a closet so I open the door and I start hanging up my clothes. At the corner of my I see a big envelope on top of a box on the night stand.

I put the clothes down and I walk over to the night stand and I pick the envelope up. I sit down on the bed and I open the envelope. Inside there is a letter for me. I begin to read
Dear,Amelia Ryder we are very pleased for you to be staying in our cottage. We are looking forward to get to know you more. Please get settled in and get some rest. First day of class begins at 8:00am sharp tomorrow. Do not worry we will send a car to take you to and from school. A list of classes are inside the envelope along with your uniform and the book of rules. Thank you

Westonburg University

I set the letter down and pull out my uniform. It is white shirt with a red vest and a plaid skirt. With the Westonburg University emblem stitched to the clothing. Along with tube socks. I grab the box and I open it. Inside I find a pair of shoes. Also the book of rules.

I open the book of rules and I begin to read them.
Rule one-Wear uniform at all-time on campus.
Rule two-Do not change your uniform for any reason. If you have a problem with it please come to the admissions office
Rule three-Do not be late it will immediately be marked on your record.
Rule four-Lights out at 10pm
Rule five-No one else is to be in your Cottage/Dorm at any time or for any reason. If you need to study with your fellow classmate please meet them at our library.

As I read the rules they just keep getting stricter and stricter.

I put the rule book back in the box.

I hang up my uniform and set it aside for tomorrow. I continue to look through papers in the envelope. Things such as a campus map,a student Id card,also a Westonburg history brochure. I set everything on the night stand and I finish hanging up my clothes and cleaning up.
